Chapter 17

Jack walked into the house looking for Marion   "Marion, you here".
"Yeah Dad, what's up".
"We need to get to Hospital quickly   Amy was involved in that multiple Pile up on Route 9, she's okay but it caused her waters to break, so she's going to need you".
"Okay, give me 5 minutes and we take my Truck as its safer than yours".
They came out and drove up to the Barn,"Ty, were off to the Hospital   you coming with us ".
"Oh, yeah thank you Marion ".
Ty got in and off they went.

"If Amy follows my sides births it will be quick and hard  then all over, My mum had me in what was it dad, 4 hours, and I had Lou in 6hrs and Amy was very quick ,less than 4 hours ".
"Really, Blimey there quick times, my mum said that I took 24 hrs to make up my mind".
"Yeah, and you still do it now, ha ha ha". Jack says smiling.
They all laughed but Ty didn't mind, it helped take the worry away, they had to take the back roads to Hudson because Route 9 was closed.
After they'd booked in at reception they were taken to see Amy before she go's up to the Maternity Floor with Marion.
"Come on Ty, Amy's bound to ask if your here".
"Err, why".
Marion then spoke quietly to Ty, " We're not daft Ty, we know about you and Amy getting closer and I honestly don't mind, Just Don't hurt her feelings Ty, and remember she will have a Daughter".
"Honestly Marion that doesn't bother me, and yes I have fallen for her, I love the person she is, a heart of gold and a firey spirit to go with it".
"Come on then let's go see her".

"Mum, TY! ,Grampa ,  am I glad your here".
Marion leaned over and kissed her cheek then looked at Ty nodding her head towards Amy  so Ty leaned forward and gave her a gentle kiss on her Lips which caught Amy completely by surprise,  she looked at her mum who smiled and winked at her, so Amy relaxed.
"So why's your Arm in a sling Amy".
"Nothing to worry about Grampa,  Just blame the seatbelt ".
"Have your contractions started yet".
"Yes Mum, they said we'd go up after I'd seen you all".
"You'll be fine Amy, can't wait to meet this little one ".
"Thanks Ty".
Two nurses came over to take Amy up stairs with Marion.
"See you later".
"There's a waiting room actually on the Maternity Floor". Says one of the Nurses.
"Thank You, we'll go to the Cafeteria first".
Ty and Jack went to get coffee and then went upstairs to the waiting room.
"So you and Amy seem to be getting close".
"Yeah we are, it started off with me wanting to help her get used to being around other men and as time went on it developed into something more  Me and Marion have had a chat about it, hope you don't mind Jack, because I really like her".
"Well to be honest, me and Marion noticed some time back, and we haven't seen Amy look so happy in a long time,  as long as your aware she can have a fiery temper".
"Yeah, It's all over town how she chewed up her, as Amy called him her Sperm Donor and then spat him out".
"Tim doesn't stand a chance between Marion and Amy, and if Lou was here God help him".
They both laughed.
