Chapter 45 .
Cranbrook
Amy and Lyndy were up early, Amy wanted to see Ty , Lyndy did too.
Amy had over a 4 hour drive ahead of her soon and wanted play time with her daughter before she had to set off for Cranbrook, It was a two day Event and she could make up a lot of points over the two days.
She knew when others saw her or her Trailer there hearts dropped a bit, but that was the nature of this sport, Amy could have a really bad day the same as anyone else even though she was a really good rider ,the same goes for Shadow, you do the best you can at that given time. That was the advice she gave a teenage rider in one of the competitions and she did good coming in third place, the young girl was overjoyed at getting a third ribbon.
Amy now had her own Instagram page for fans to follow or post photos of her riding, asking her questions but she would only answer about 6 of them each time so they knew she wasn't ignoring them. She'd explained on her page that she couldn't answer everyone so keep asking or look to see if someone else has and that one got an answer.
She was becoming very well known and usually let her followers know the Shows she was entered into.
Most were Teens who liked the fact that Amy never put on any airs and graces, she was a Ranch Girl at heart , she wasn't better than anyone else but she did have skill and knowledge of horses which helped her be the best she could be. If someone uploaded a photo that she wanted to use on her website she would always ask them to send it to her by Email and Amy always put that the photo was curtesy of and there name.
Ty walked in and Lyndy started waving her arms up and down and smiling, Ty was her Daddy and Amy loved it. They had a Lovely 1st Birthday two days before for Lyndy, but Amy didn't go mad as Lyndy wouldn't remember it.
They spent a couple of hours together with Lyndy included, then Ty had to get to work but said he'd phone her every night. "You'd better" Amy says laughing .
Come Midday Amy was all set to go, said her goodbyes and set off on the long Journey.
The Journey was uneventful, she stopped on a regular time schedule to walk Shadow and check him over, it gave her a chance to stretch her Legs too.
Four Hours and twenty minutes later Amy pulled in to the venue and stopped at Security to book into the site.
Half hour later after a drink and sandwich she went in through the inner door to check on shadow, Amy didn't need the stables on site anymore, she unlatched the two horse divider and folded it back to give Shadow a larger area to move around in, fed and watered him then locked up and went to Register.
Amy had a good walk round and went to walk the Arena and check out the Jumps.
Amy slept well that night after her phone call to Ty.
