Cranbrook Day 1

Saturday.....

Amy started this competition with determination and it was a busy day, she had four different rounds and ended up coming in at second place by one second.
There were some good riders there today. After she'd had Dinner Amy locked up and went to walk the Jumps again to see if she could cut a couple of seconds off her time, of course tomorrow would be a hard one as the Jumps were higher and her only rival was good but she had no Idea what he was like at this height.
Amy walked round twice as if she was riding Shadow and noticed a short cut, she almost missed it because of the way the other Jump was positioned which would be the second Jump after the one she was aiming for. "Dam, how did I miss that".
Amy went back to her Trailer and decided to give Shadow a good brush down, she'd washed him after the event's but he should be dry by now so she was going to put his blanket on tonight Just incase he decides to have a roll about, she didn't fancy having to wash him again in the morning.

She was fast asleep, happy after talking to Ty when she heard a loud bang, got up with her phone in hand. Then again, coming from Shadows stall. When she walked in she could hear voices which sounded a little drunk. *Sshh, to much noise*.
Amy phoned the security office straight away and told them what was happening, in the meantime she was trying to keep Shadow calm.
Headlights appeared from two different directions and then a lot of shouting and scuffing around, running and swearing.
When it had calmed down there was knock on her door, so she looked out the window and saw the Security Guard.
"Sorry about this Miss Fleming, we got one of them but according to him he said this guy told him he'd left his keys inside, they had both had a bit to drink".
"That's Okay, thank you for turning up so quickly".
"Your welcome, and there's no damage that a bit of cutting paste will put right".
"Okay, thank you, goodnight".
Amy locked back up and went to see Shadow. Thankfully he was fine, and already falling asleep. Shadow never ceased to amaze her.

In the morning it was an early start, Shadow was still clean so she put his white Bell Boots on. And his white harness with the protection across his nose. She kept looking at the new Saddle she had bought and decided to use it for the final, it was to Finnish off Shadows look of a Black horse with all white tack. She left him to eat his Breakfast while she sorted out her own and a cup of Tea.
Later on after Amy had Locked up the Trailer and armed the Alarm that she didn't know she had, which was connected to her mobile phone. Her phone was off but inside her hidden pocket in her Jacket.
She made her way to the Arena for her first round and watched the others, her rival for this was doing a good time but due to the higher Jumps he wasn't as fast as yesterday but did have a clear round. At least she knew what time to beat and her shortcut should give her an edge as long as she got a clear round.
