Chapter 19

"Well her first name is after her Great Grandma Lyndy, and two special women in her life Marion , Valerie".
"Ohh that's lovely Amy, and her surname".
"Well I did tell you it would be the same as mine Val,  Fleming ".
"Oh I thought you may of reconsidered,  I'm not happy about that Amy, not one bit".
"I'm going to say it again Val , I will not give my Daughter the Surname of the man who raped me and leave it at that".
Amy noticed that Lyndy had gone back to sleep so pulled the blanket back up.
"Oh  I was going to ask if I could hold her".
"Well she's gone back to sleep now Val,  you could of earlier instead of arguing with me about her name".
Val huffed and walked out followed by Ashley.
While Amy was at Maggie's Ashley went straight to Heartland to try and get Ty, she'd heard that he and Amy were getting close, but when she got there she got a shock.
"Hey Lover Boy are you in here, I'm much better and more experienced for you than little goody two shoes".
"So your brother rapes her then tries to kill her and almost succeeds, then you turn up trying to steel the only person she's truly made a connection  with and is actually dating  , what is wrong with your family Ashley,  I suggest you leave and don't come back unless your invited ".
Ashley quickly disappeared.
"Thanks for getting rid of her Jack".
" No problem ,  she's gonna catch something off someone one day".

When Amy gets back she goes and puts Lyndy down until she wants a feed and sits in the Lounge with a mug of coffee telling Jack all about the run in with Ashley and Val.
Jack then tells Amy about his and Ty's  run in with Ashley.
"After everything that happened Grampa I honestly thought that me and Ashley would get on better, so much for hoping and thank you for dealing with her".
"Well Ty asked if I would as he knew she'd listen to me more than himself and I could tell her not to come here again unless invited ".
"Trouble is your going to get it from Val, she's already pissed off with me because Lyndy is a Fleming and not a Stanton".
"Now that is your choice and your decision,  she has no right to get involved,  in fact she should respect your decision considering what her son did ,,, did you notice I didn't mention its name, ha ha".
"Ha ha, yes I did Grampa, thank you".

The following day Amy's washing and drying Shadow ready for a good brush,  Lyndy is in the office fast asleep in her pram when she see's Val Stantons truck go past, obviously to have a go for kicking Ashley off Heartland. Of course Val doesn't know her mums in the house as well.
After a while Ty walks in the barn and see's Amy trying to dry Shadow off and can hear Lyndy crying.
"Hey, you want to get Lyndy and I'll give him a quick rub down".
"Thanks Ty, I won't be a minute ".
"No Rush Amy".
"She's not going to settle, I've put a clean diaper on her after she Just had a bottle , I've winded her,  I'm going to take her for a walk Ty".
"I'll come with you and walk Shadow which will dry him off quicker if that's okay ".
"Of course it is, you Don't have to ask me Ty".
"Well it's Just polite to ask".
"Your so sweet Ty, come on then handsome".
