When I woke up my body felt lighter and to my surprise my dress was off. Thank god I shaved and had put on tanning lotion. Kris woke up as I was stretching and pulled me back into his arms and kissed every inch of my face. I giggled while my face scrunched up as if I had eaten something sour. He laid back and I curled up so my head was on his chest.
"So banana, today is the day you leave your heart with me."
I let out a moan considering I never woke up this early in the real world without bribing or an alarm clock.
Kris chuckled, "I forgot that you are a moaner, how about we test that out?"
I squealed as he threw me down on the bed, before any destruction could be done, their was a knock on the suite door. He gave me the signal not to move or else and answered the door. As soon as I heard the voice I jumped and wished I had on more clothes.
"WHERE IS SHE?? WE HAVE DRINKS LIKE GOOD OLD TIMES AND SHE NEVER COMES BACK! I WON'T STOP SHOUTING BECAUSE SHE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE SEEING YOU!!"
Great I thought, Mo must have started her period. Before I went to combat with whatever was happening outside I ducked into the bathroom and pulled out some emergency tampons and pads. When I walked out of the bedroom, I saw Kris restraining Mo from taking anymore steps in our-his-someones suite. I practically threw the toiletries at her and sat her down hoping to get this over quickly. I explained the basics- Kris had apologized and now we were friends. "With no benefits".yet. But she didn't need to know anything about it.
I hadn't done this much talking in a long time. Usually it was giggle, kiss, cuddle, repeat. Mo asked about my makeup which was every where. Kris told her almost all of it, that she was allowed to hear and in return she congratulated him and all that crap. Kris yawned while I shuffled Morgan to the door who was still chatting about her new boy toy Tristian.
"He is such an animal but can also be so sweet. I'm so glad you got those tickets and decided to bring me. Oh and fyi planes wheels are up in like four hours!! See you soon bae!"
I closed the door and looked at Kris as if a tornado had come through the suite. His eyes danced with mischievous stares darting between the bedroom door and me. All of a sudden, I found myself sprinting to the room and get there before Kris did. When I reached the door frame I jumped onto the bed with him a few steps behind me. We were sprawled out on the bed and between kisses, Kris kept muttering to me "you win. For now."
After a while I found the shirt I had been wearing on him and made some joke across the lines of.."that shirt looked better on me," which made him chuckle. There was a silent moment and I secretly wished time would stop and this would go on forever.
Kris had other plans though. He grabbed my leg and slid his hand into mine and with a small sigh and pain in his voice, "let's get your stuff packed up"
Dammit.
I didn't want to so I let out the biggest moan that my little body would allow me," NOOOOO I DONT WANT TO."
Okay, so what if I was having a little tantrum? I wasn't ready to leave him again. He let go of my hand and started packing my stuff up while I curled up and tried not to cry too loud. Kris left out some outfits for me to wear on the flight home, but instead I wore his big hoodie and stuffed his jersey in my bag. The baggage man came and went with my few bags and pretty soon him and I were going downstairs to the car. Paparazzi was everywhere but luckily Kris had prepared me for them with glasses and a hat.
We got to the car and boy did he step on the gas. We were there within half an hour car parked, baggage checked in, everyone was there. The crew was sharing stories on what they had boughten for their friends back home. Morgan had the best souvenir of all however. She was taking Tristian back to the stated with her and both of them were stoked. I sighed in defeat as Kris put his arm on my shoulder and pulled me a little closer towards him, but just enough so I could still chime in on the group conversation.
When the flight attendants announced that they would be boarding in 10 minutes all I remember was everyone laughing and running to take an emergency bathroom stop. But what I remember the most was his cologne and tight squeezes and mumbling quotes and his feelings to me. It stayed like that for a long time. Soon we parted tears dancing in our eyes, noses running, and that was the beginning of the end.
