I had no choice but to sit in the wheelchair to ease everyone's nerves. From the look around their faces, this was a miracle in a disguise. The chair which I was being confined to was the most plain and uncomfortable thing I had ever sat in. I was going to have a lot of designing to do to get this up to my expectations.
While I was deep in thought about the cool skeme, there was a discussion about my mail. After all, we had been gone for about a week and nobody had swung by my apartment since then. During the heated part of the argument I "snuck" out with my new chair (that I hated so dearly) and went to get my own mail. When I opened the box I only saw one medium sized package that looked pretty professional, In addition to a thin letter. The thought of opening the package in front of the crew made me nervous and squirmy.
Once the package was open I started to chuckle which turned into me about wetting my pants. I accidentally forgot to close the door, so all could hear the "discussion" through the elevator doors. Causally rolling into MY apartment I threw the contents of the package on the floor and headed to my room. There was a knock on my door and popped out Mo and Izzie's head; I could tell the wheels were turning but the mouse was surprisingly alive.
Mo was the first to talk and I wasn't sure what sign that was.
"Anna,me and Izze would like to be the first to laugh with you at this offer.." Izzie held up 4 World Cup tickets, refunded ticket money, flight tickets, and VIP passes for before and after the game. That is kind of a lot of stuff to take in. We all stared at each other for a reaction and had nothing more to say than to laugh, because the madness had just started.
After what seemed like forever, all three of us seemed to have the same questions: Can she hold up? Who will I/she/Anna take as her bish crew? What will we wear?
Of course I wanted to go! I wasn't going to go to see Kris because for sure he hadn't changed. Of course I knew who I was taking because I wanted to have back up for the game. One thing was for sure-we weren't going to match outfits.
