Morgan, Nick, Abbie, and the queen herself.(me) After explaining the situation and chuckling a tad bit more, the three of them agreed to come without hesitation. I handed out their tickets and watched their faces light up. When I wheeled to my spot I looked at the tickets with amazement. The date for the big game was in less than a week away. A WEEK PEOPLE UNTIL I SAW KRIS AND HIS SORRY LITTLE ASS.
Boy was I looking forward to seeing his old friends because at one time, they were mine as well. It ended wrong. All of it from the break up to his friends. We had our disagreements but I pulled through for him. I got to the point where I couldn't do it. I couldn't trust him, Jump off a bridge for him, and I especially couldn't hold his baggage.
After he moved I lost contact with most of them but one.
But with my "backups" I think I had scored more than him. The teams were Belgium vs. the great country north. I refused to be in the room when any soccer games or highlights were on. The doctors said it was not the best idea to be going to the biggest event of the year. Fire truck it.
When I woke up the next day, I remembered the second letter I got and wondered what it was. Mo and I said all the bills on the apartment, hadn't been to any clubs in months. Mo walked in while I was opening the thin envelope and didn't ask anything thinking it was from the hospital.(my guess)
I couldn't finish reading it due to the fact that my eyes starting sweating. I tried to stop my eyes from letting the dam break but the harder I tried the harder it was to stop it. My life was finally coming together in even in the "hardest" time. Well the hardest time was of course my old flame burning a huge hole in my heart. No Tums or Advil could make the pain go away.
