Sabo's POV

We split into two groups, one group explores the surrounding area and another explores the opposite side of the island. The first group consisted of Pedro, Chopper, Brook, and Carrot. Our group consisted of Luffy, Nami, Koala, and I.

We were walking for a few minutes. The view was beautiful but after a while it was a bit boring to keep walking.

"How long till we get there!?" Luffy groaned, practically begging for some action.

"We're almost past the mountain, Luffy." Nami, having as much energy as Luffy, sighed.

A few seconds of silence pass.

"Soo..." Koala spoke.

"Ahah!!" Luffy shouted.

He swiftly threw his arms in front of us and flew past. We look to where he landed and saw a giant castle.

"WOAH!!" We all stared.

The castle looked abandoned, there were the same blue vines across the mountain covering over it. Everyone ran towards the castle out of desperation for something new. We climbed inside the ruins and explored.

The walls were a whitish- beige color, the material of them were rugged. The floor was wooden, and a maroon color. They looked old and felt like you could get a splinter just by placing your hand on top. Thankfully over most of the floor was a red carpet. It was stained but probably the best looking thing inside. The room we were in looked like a bedroom of some sort. Most likely the master bedroom considering there was a massive scarlet bed in front of us.

"Woah..." I spoke.

"The amount of knowledge stored in this place..." Koala said looking at some dusty books in a shelf.

"Who cares about that stuff?! HELLOOOOO!!! ANYONE WANNA FIGHT?!" Luffy shouted.

"LUFFY!!" Nami turned her head.

Brook's POV

It's been at least thirty minutes since we split up with the rest of the group. Most of the time we were looking at the island surrounding us. Eventually we reached the sand and found ourselves close to the ocean.

"This place looks so nice!" Carrot exclaimed as she skipped in the sand.

Chopper, being so small, got a bunch of sand in his face because of it.

"AH! Carrot! You're getting sand all over me!!" Chopper raised his hooves trying to block the sand.

"Sorry!! I'm just excited!!" She replied happily.

"I think I see something up ahead." Pedro stated, pointing forwards.

"Hmm?!" I looked to where Pedro was pointing and saw a structure fade into view.

We ran towards the mysterious building with haste. When we got to it, we finally figured out what it was.

A ship?

There was an old shipwreck, it looked like any regular haunted boat. The ship was covered in barnacles and vines. The flag was torn and faded.

We stared at the shipwreck, the silence consumed us.

"Shall we go in?" I asked.

We entered the ship and checked the place out. As soon as we entered, there was a weird laboratory type area. A bed stained with blood was in the center of the room and a small desk could be found nearby.

"Carrot, Pedro, may you two check else where on the ship while Chopper and I check this area?" I asked.

"Sure thing!" Carrot smiled and started to walk her way over.

"Oh! And before you go..." I spoke, Carrot turned to me.

"May I....see your pa-"

"YOU TWO GO AHEAD!! We've got everything covered here! Hehehe!!" Chopper interrupted with glee.

"Oh! Okay!" Carrot spoke as her and Pedro walked off.

As soon as they left, Chopper jumped up to me.

"What the heck Brook!!" He spoke in a loud whisper.

I replied. "I was just asking a question."

After that small ordeal, we continued to look around.

There were tons of books everywhere, all filled with information on science or health. I looked towards the floor. It was covered in blood but something else had caught my eye.

"CHOPPER!!." I spoke looking down.

He walked over to where I was standing.

"AHH! THATS A PROP RIGHT, THERE'S NO WAY THOSE ARE REAL DEAD BONES?!" Chopper screamed.

"T-Those are definitely real. It explains the blood as well." I spoke staring at the floor.

"From what I gathered, whoever owned this ship was probably a doctor or scientist if some sort. They definitely died here somehow. Not only that, but by judging the bed, they might've killed some people themselves." Chopper spoke in a sad tone.

"I wonder what happened to them...to this island." I said.

Chopper hopped onto the small desk and found a book called "The Great King". It was crippled, who knows how long it's been since it was made.

"This book seems important, it's clearly been used." Chopper grabbed it and looked at the cover.

"Hmm...'The Great King'? I've never heard of this book before." I stared at the name of the book and then opened it.

After a little bit of reading, I knew exactly what this was.

"Ah! I know this story! I never knew there was ever a book on it." I said with glee.

"Huh?! You know it?!" Chopper asked.

"Back when I was alive, this story was a legend from long ago! It was barley ever heard of but those who have heard it are extremely lucky!" I sat down on a chair within the room.

"Can you tell me about it?!" Chopper followed me.

I spoke to Chopper who was now on my head. "As much as I'd love to tell you the story, it's quite dark and I'm not sure you'd like it."

"Don't worry! It's just a story!" Chopper squeezed my hair.

"Very well then!" I replied.
