Luffy's POV
Sabo and I walked out of the bar and started to make our way to Gray Terminal.
"You wanna race?" I asked cheerfully.
Sabo gave a long sigh and giggled. "Let's go!" He replied.
We both ran as fast as we could until we met the three boys along with Makino.
"Hey!! Makino!!" I shouted with a wide smile.
We both stopped right before we hit the four of them and chuckled.
"Beat you again, Luffy." Sabo snickered.
I jumped away from Sabo with a shocked look on my face. "Hey! I'm gonna beat you some day!" I shouted angrily.
Sabo turned to the three kids and they seemed to be in a bad mood. He then turned to Makino, she had a forced smile.
His smile shifted into a focused expression. "What's wrong?" He asked, slightly concerned for them.
Makino sighed. "Well...after everything that happened, the boys started questioning a few things. After a while they-"
"Makino!" Luffy 2 went up to her with a sad look.
"They started having doubts...about finding the disc..." She continued.
Sabo 2 went up to us both and bowed. "I'm sorry, since we didn't understand what happens in the future, we were thinking of saving us all. Keeping my memories along with Ace's life. Ace was opposed to the idea but Luffy and I wanted to do it."
Sabo and I smiled, of course they would wanna save Ace. We didn't even ask how they felt about the situation.
"Hey, you guys have nothing to worry about!" I knelt down to Sabo 2. Luffy 2 walked up to us as well.
"We don't blame you for wanting to save Ace.." Sabo spoke, looking away. "The problem is that, we shouldn't mess with time. Especially with something that could effect the whole world as we know it."
They looked at the ground, rethinking their thoughts.
"But...what about your memories- Our memories. They'll be gone won't they?" Sabo 2 looked up to Sabo with a sorrowful expression.
Sabo stared back at him with a dejected look. He put on a smile and titled his head. "I'm afraid so, Sabo."
"We can talk about this later, we have to find the disc!" Ace spoke up.
"Oh! That's right..." Makino covered her mouth.
"Let's get going then!" I shouted.
I quickly dashed towards Gray Terminal. I looked behind me and Sabo was close behind.
"Hey! You're not getting first that easily!" Sabo shouted in a playful manner.
"Those two are too much..." Makino giggled. "Let's go you three!" She started running, following me and Sabo.
Ace ran after but Luffy 2 and Sabo 2 were still concerned about their future. They followed anyway and we all ultimately made it to Gray Terminal.

Sabo's POVWhen we arrived, we decided to split up. Makino and kid Luffy would search together, Luffy and kid me would search together, finally Ace and I would search together. We had a few hours to find the disc until the fire starts.
After about three hours we haven't found anything yet. It was especially hard to look with the fog surrounding us. Despite the hardships, we kept on looking.
"It's not over here, how about you Ace?" I turned to him.
He groaned. "Not here!" He replied.
I sighed and sat down on the floor. I placed my hands over my face and dragged them down to my chin. Ace walked over to me and sat down as well.
"How the hell can we find a little marble thing in the middle of a wasteland..." I muttered.
Ace remained quiet, he had no answer to the question himself. The fog is so dense that even something like the disc can't be seen.
"I know this isn't the time, but did I ever find out? About you being alive?" Ace asked.
My eyes widened, why did he have to bring that up. I thought we were past talking about the future.
"From what I heard...no..." I spoke sadly.
Ace showed a serious expression. He bit his lip and clenched his fists.
"We've been friends for about five years, theres no way I could believe you 'died'. It's you were talking about, there's no way I didn't at least look for you!We have to have met or at least heard of each other-"
I quickly grabbed Ace's shoulders and pulled him into a hug. I gripped onto him and smiled to myself.
He was shocked and didn't hug me back."The hell Sabo-"
"Shut up, you damn idiot." I spit out, my voice slightly breaking.
"You talk about how you don't care if you die, it's like you want to die! You constantly say it because you have 'bad blood' in your veins, right?" I cried.
"You talk about me so highly! Like I'm so much better because I wasn't the son of Gold D Roger!" I complained.
I pulled him out of the hug and stared directly in his eyes. "You have nothing to be sorry for! Your life is just as important as mine, son of the king or not! So stop talking like you're nothing because you're wrong! You're my brother Ace, even if you die in the future we'll still be brothers no matter what!" I stood up and started to walk away.
Ace was completely silent, he lowered his head.
"Let's keep looking for the disc." I said as I went to go scout around for the disc again.
"Right..."
