Luffy's POV

I followed the Pirates back to their base. When I got there, there was a ship and a few tents in a nearby hill. I slowly stepped closer to the hideout and hid behind the wall.

"You bastard! Untie me!! Come here and FIGHT!! I'm not gonna lose this time!" Luffy 2 screamed.

"Shut your mouth, brat!" A pirate called out.

"Why'd you bring us to your hide out? You should've just killed us." Ace stated.

"It must be awful nice to be a noble. Wouldn't you punks agree? To them were no different then the piles of garbage we live in. They just sit back while we do all the dirty work. It's a pretty cushy life your buddies living I'd say." BlueJam spoke.

I started to get annoyed, I clenched my fists but I remembered what Sabo said.

"You got no clue what your talking about!" Ace replied.

"Pirate life is way better than being a stupid noble! Sabo said so himself!" Luffy exclaimed with confidence.

"You kids are so hopeless, I can't help feeling bad for you. Hey! Untie the ropes and quick." He ordered.

Some pirates started to untie the younger me and Ace.

BlueJam continued. "Why do you think a kid from a noble family ran off to a place like Gray Terminal? Did you think he just wanted to make some new friends? He was mocking you and all the other people here. Just like adult nobles do when they're feeling bored."

I stared coldly through the wood. All Sabo wanted me to do was watch, but I can't help but get angry. BlueJam doesn't know Sabo, so why should he talk like he does?!

"Real sorry to break it to you, that boy is no friend of yours." BlueJam smiled.

"You're lying! Sabo would never pull a stunt like that!" Ace argued.

"He's right! He said we were brothers, you heard him!!" Luffy 2 yelled.

"Yeah, guess so. Whatever you kids say! Hahahah!" Blue Jam chuckled.

Sabo's seen what this kingdom really is, he's not one of them!

"But in any case, you boys aren't gonna bother him or his family anymore, are you? Cause if that's the plan, I'm afraid I'd have to take you both out right here and now. If you really think of him as your brother, it'd be best for everyone to leave him alone."  BlueJam suggested.

Luffy 2 stepped forward. "No! Sabo told us that he hates High Tow-"

"Look, if you really care about this Sabo kid, then you gotta let him go live his own life! You'll understand when you grown up. Anyway, until recently I had a bone to pick with you after what happened with Porchemy and our money, but I'm over all that now. In fact I'm kinda impressed at how tough you little punks are. Which is why I wanted to ask you something, it might just be worth your while." BlueJam said.

All Sabo wanted was freedom, all Sabo wanted was to be happy.

"Thanks to you boys I'm kinda short handed. So, how would you feel about doing a job for me. Don't worry, it's a short easy gig. There's actually not really much danger involved. On that barrels a map of Gray Terminal. You just have to carry packages to the locations marked on the map with an X. You interested?"

Ace spoke."Okay sure."

INSTEAD, HE HAD TO SUFFER FOR TWEVE YEARS, BECAUSE OF YOU!!

"What about pay?"

Sabo's POV

On the way back into town I grabbed an old coat and a broken mask inside Gray Terminal. I quickly crept toward the old house I once lived in. As I put on the coat and mask, I waited for kid me and my dad to arrive. When they did, all I needed was for kid me to be alone.

"Finally..." I thought.

I climbed up onto a tree and knocked on the window.

"Huh?" Kid Sabo looked over.

I banged on the window, hoping he would let me in.

"AH!" He quickly fell to the floor and grabbed his pipe.

I waited patiently for him to let me in, trying to signal that I didn't mean any harm. He slowly walked close and opened the window. I swept inside and closed the window.

"Close the door, right now!" I ordered.

"Why should I?!" Kid Sabo replied.

"Do you want your life to be at stake?!" I exclaimed running to the door and shutting it.

I locked us both inside and took a deep breath.

"The hell do you want from me?" Kid Sabo said in an angry tone.

"There not much time to talk so we have to make this quick." I turned back to kid Sabo and knelt down.

"You picked up some kinda sphere, right? You need to give that to me." I spoke.

He felt his pockets and pulled out the small orb. "You mean this weird thing?"

"Yeah, please can I have it?" I asked.

He stared at the orb and turned back to me. "Why should I? It's not everyday some random stranger comes into your house looking for a stupid trinket like this." He laughed.

"This isn't funny, you have to give me that right now! This thing is important, I can't say much but I can say that your life depends on it!" I raised my voice.

"Bang Bang..."

Both kid Sabo and I turned to the door.

"Hey, Sabo! I was gonna enter but you locked the room! Can I come in, I wanna talk a little!" A voice called out.

"Dammit...okay listen close." I looked back to kid Sabo.

"Don't mention me to Stelly no matter what. Too many people know already. Once I find you again we'll continue this conversation." I dashed out the window and hid nearby.

After a few minutes, I saw kid me run off with his regular clothes on, along with his pipe. I was worried my interference would prevent him from leaving.

"At least things are still on track."
