I've decided in making another ASL fanfic! It's called Noble and it's an AU where Sabo didn't get saved by dragon! Please check it out and I hope you enjoy!

Luffy's POV

Surprisingly enough, Sabo was right. I was focused on saving Ace because he's our brother, but I didn't care about what could happen to everyone else. Who knows what it would take to bring back Sabo's memory if we did save Ace.

I kept a hold of Sabo, he must've been worn out from yelling so much.

"Are you two done?!" Makino called out.

"Yeah! Don't worry!" I called out.

Sabo was still silently sobbing in my embrace. For once I feel like the older brother.

"We're gonna be on our way to Gray Terminal, we'll meet you both there!" Makino replied.

I kept my arms around Sabo and sighed. "Hey, you okay now?"

"Yeah..." he muttered, getting off of my chest.

I looked at him. "You heard what I said, right?"

He looked at me, his face was still red.

"I promise, you won't have to forget ever again!" I spoke confidently.

He kept his eyes locked on me, I did the same. "You have to trust me on that!"

He nodded his head. "Yeah...yeah I trust you..." He said softly.

I still held onto Sabo's arms as we stood up.

I smiled. "Maybe I'm the real older brother!"

Sabo giggled. "Hell no!" He said softly.

I finally let go of Sabo. "Do you need a minute?"

He fixed his clothes and grabbed his hat. "Yeah, just a few minutes though." He walked over to a chair and sat down.

Ace's POV [Kid Ace]

[A few minutes before the argument finished]

We had just left the back room, but we could hear older Luffy and Sabo start shouting.

"This is such a mess..." Makino sighed and slid to the floor.

"What was Luffy Two talking about?" The Luffy I knew questioned.

"I don't know if I should say... it's probably best if we talk about it later." Makino looked away from the three of us.

Sabo looked down. "For starters, the older Luffy said they could save Ace. The older me said something like 'helping won't bring him back.' Judging by those words alone..."

I turned to Makino, she had her eyes toward me but swiftly averted her gaze.

"So, what happened to your chest, huh?"

"I'd rather not talk about it."

I crossed my arms. "There's no doubt, I die in the future, don't I?" I asked Makino.
