My days in the castle turned from weeks to months and now a whole year, a year of not living with my family and a year of Training and Forming a deeper connection with the Royal family and Humans.

There had been no updates of Lin's where about's and the ever living doom falls over me when we get small hints of where she could be.

"(Y/n), Lady (Y/n)! The captain is calling for you", one of the newer rookies came to me frantically looking exhausted and out of breath.

"Oh you poor thing, let me guess~ it's princess Midori". I said with a small laugh.

"Y-yes how did you know. . .", He looked at me dumbfounded.

"This wouldn't be the first time rookie", I walked passed him patting him on the shoulder and going to Midori's location.

"w-wait let me take you there", he speed walked behind me trying to keep up with my pace.

Come to think of it I saw him during there orientation this morning, "No need, by the way what's your name rookie".

Like a Christmas tree he light up with joy, "Bork! You might know my dad Doggo".

"Right, he has amazing skills~ I admire him. How about I show you how I deal with the princess".

He looked at me in confusion, "deal with her? My lady I don't think I will be doing this-".

"Trust me Bork you will, she tends to Escape a lot".

When I got to our location I ended up half way threw hot land near the core, "this is going to take a lot of Coordination".

"What? I-I don't understand she's Here? At the core? but last time I saw she was running threw hot lands?!?".

"(Y/n) I got your message! Did you find the princess!!", papyrus came running over.

"Yup, she's over there on the 4th level of the core".

"Again . . . I know she dislikes you being away but this is getting ridiculous not to mention dangerous", he let out a sigh looking up at small little legs dangling from the safety rails.

"I'll give her a nice scolding on our way back", I said as my body illuminated in a golden hue.

Teleporting behind her I cleared my throat, "you found me, that took 30 minutes".

"You timed me?", tilting my head I leaned on the rail next to her.

"It's all I could do while I was here . . .".

Looking over she had that face again, "what happened this time~ no one makes you this upset but him".

She puffed out her cheeks, "he started it! I didn't do anything wrong".

'Chara making my life harder it seems'.

Crouching down I pet her head, "what did he do this time".

She fidgeted for a moment, "he made fun of my hight and said if I don't work on getting taller I'll never be like . . .".

"Like?", I said waiting for her to finish.

"Never mind he just made me mad n so I said well that person would never wanna be with him anyways . . . Then I ran away", she said letting out a sigh.

I was trying to piece together who they we're fighting over but I couldn't think of anyone, 'it's hard to believe Chara would fight with his sister over someone in the first place?'.

"Care to take my hand for a moment", she took my hand and we teleported down to Papyrus and Bork. "See here little princess of mine~ siblings fight but it's always important too~".

I left a pause so she could fill it in, " . . Too make up in the end".

"Well said princess,  Im afraid you are not allowed to be at the core unless supervised since it's vary dangerous", papyrus said walking beside her.

She looked up at us and let go of my hand, "you too get along but what about your big brother?".

We looked at each other and smiled, "sans? He's very laid back but he steps up when the time comes".

"Sans is a lot of things, Lazy but he reads bed time stories like no one else can. He also has bad eating habits but he's one of the smartest people I know.", I couldn't tell if paps was reading a pro and cons list or just weighing out our brothers personality.

Midori couldn't help but laugh, "I think I know what you mean".

Bork seemed to hover around us as we walked back to the castle but in the blink of an eye his demeaner changed. He drew his weapon as did Papyrus, "My lady-".

"You don't have to tell me twice Bork", My body enveloped in a golden hue as the young princess squeezed my hand.

". . . (y/n)", she looked around in worry.

Magic dark purple crows forming a  murder came towards us, "Mimi . . . remember how we played monkey?". She nodded reaching her arms up. "Good, be a good monkey and cling to the tree".

Picking her up the Dark purple crows swooped down towards us, "Oh no you dont!". Bork and papyrus blocked them from touching us. "Sister! Quick to the castle its protected by the Kings magic!".

Extending my hand upward I sent a bubble of magic dispersing them for a moment giving me enough time to run with Midori in my arms, "Hold on mimi!". Papyrus and Bork covered our backs as more guards came running to help.

"Behind you!", Midori yelled as I brought up bone walls protecting her and batting away the oncoming crows. 

"Tch!", They where relentless and coming way to close to her. "Mimi I need you to make a small healing orb for me".

"o-okay", listening to my instructions she made an orb and I did the same but  mine was much bigger. "s-sissy?!? W-wait What About You!!". Panicked she banged on the golden orb that absorbed her small green one. 

"I'm a knight, I protect you no matter what", I said shooting them down with my bone spears.

They bounced off my armor and tore at my clothes but I was Determined to get her away, 'teleporting would be Ideal but I cant focus with these STUPID BIRDS'. One of the crows managed to graze my face, "Ack-". 

"(Y/N)!".

"Im alright", I flashed her a smile to ease her worry. 'im almost there', Rushing to the castle they swarmed passed me blocking the door forcing me to stop.

"w-what do we do now", her small voice said in a shaken tone.

Thinking for a second I raised my hand forming a summon with my magic, "work . . please Work". Thinking of the blaster I formed a small skull like Dads and sans's.

With a build up and hissing sound a loud blast came out of the small skull with a ploom of Gold, green and blue's. The crows vanished and fazed away with my magic giving me enough time to run threw before more came to take there place.

Sliding in threw the small path I created, The kings magic stopped them from entering the castle. Letting out a heavy sigh I sunk to the ground as guards surrounded us. "Princess Midori! Lady (Y/n)! What happened out there".

"Fluff Ball! Princess!, the Captain ran over with Undyne and the others right behind him.

"(Y/n) how's the princess", he asked.

standing up I let her out of the bubble like orb holding her in my arms. She was shaking so bad she didn't even make a sound. "  . . mimi . . .". Lifting her up slowly she clung to me sobbing lightly. 

"The princess is unharmed and well", I held her as we walked to the thrown room with the others following behind me. 

on our way there I couldn't help but wonder, 'What in the underground type of magic was that?. Ive never seen anything like it . . . was it remote magic or a type of summons? . . . . was it . .  her . . . and if it was Why target the princess instead of me . . or was the princess a distraction for something else?".
