Queen Toriel let us stay in a room in the mean time, I had time to know Chara and Asriel well enough to know Chara is not afraid to speak his mind and Asriel is very kind . . Almost to kind to the point he's a push over.

I hear the guards and workers whisper as I walk out of a room, "did you hear? That grumpy scientist adopted a skeleton girl~".

"Really?! Who would have thought since he spends all his time in that lab and not enough with his children~ hahaha".

'They talk so loudly it's like they want to get caught'.

It's been like this for a while but when I'm with Toriel she gives them the stink eye making them keep there mouths shut.

"My child~ there you are", she found me wandering down the corridor.

"Queen Toriel, sorry I got lost again", I lied.

She took my hand escorting me the other way, "no worries, where are your brothers?".

"Sans is with Gast- I mean father and papyrus was with Asriel and Chara", I explained.

". . . Did you end up having a conversation with Gaster about your situation?".

She was talking about the Director . . I shook my head 'no' since he was collecting all the data from the lab that they raided.

'I only gave him a few names . . but not Garrison'.

"Toriel and (Y/n), there you are", Gasters voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Gast- I mean father what brings you here?", I trotted up to him.

He brushed my hair away from my face, "if the Queen does not mine I wish to take her with me back to the lab for a check up".

"Oh my that sounds serious, alright go on your way I shall be with the children in the garden if you need me", she left going to the garden.

Gaster took my hand walking me to the door I walked out of when I escaped, 'it's that door . . . '.

I stopped not wanting to go in,"what's wrong? . . I see, forgive me for making you come back but I promise I'll make this quick".

I tried my best not to be scared but my legs wouldn't move even if I wanted them to, "I-I'm sorry . . I'm having a hard time moving".

He could see me shaking and pet my head, "you have nothing to fear as long as I'm with you".

Picking me up I felt safer and calmed down a bit, we didn't go down the same way to the lab I was held at but down a totally different hall with many doors and locks to the point I was observing everything.

Many people said there greetings and once they saw my messy white hair they let out a gasp.

"Morning Dr. Gaster, Oh is that your daughter!", one of his colleagues said while giving me a smile.

"Yes, she's rather shy around others but she is curious", I hid myself glancing every now and then.

"Aw, she reminds me of papyrus when he first came here~ she will be rowdy in no time", he said chuckling a bit.

"I hope not, papyrus is already a spirited one", he said with a sigh.

"I mustn't keep you waiting then, have a good day ", he waved his hand as we left and I gave a little wave back.

When we entered a new room Sans was there working on a math problem on a huge chalkboard.

"Sans how's the equation going?", Gaster asked while setting me down on a chair near by.

"Got the formula down but solving this bad boy is tougher then it looks-", he saw me and paused for a second.

"H-hello brother Sans, how are you today", I said feeling like a bother.

He looked at Gaster then put the chalk down and came my way, "I've been needing a small warm bundle of fluff to keep me company".

"Huh? What do you mea- Ah w-wait brother!", sans lifted me and hugged me placing his face in my hair using it like a pillow.

"Sans don't torment your sister, also we're short on time", he said clearing the table with his magic.

'Amazing . . It's like he had 6 extra hands'.

"I got it, don't get your robe in a twist", sans set me on the table.

"(Y/n), I want to take a few tests and measure your magic", he said slowly making sure I understood.

Out of reflex I held my chest and brought in my legs, "I-it will hurt! . . . It always hurts . . . I don't want to".

Sans had a troubled look on his face as he watched me shaking like a leaf.

"Easy there sis, we won't hurt you and I'll give you a hand", he extended his hand to me.

I hesitated to take it but when I did, *pffffffffffffft. . . *

"Hahaha, This trick never gets old", it was enough to cool my nerves and make me smile. With a small giggle I relaxed, "thanks sans".

"No prob bob~", he winked and sat in a chair.

"This will be fast and painless so relax and rest easy", he started with taking strands of my hair and looking over my arms and legs to make sure I was alright.

He took note of all of his findings and the last thing he did was check my soul and HP.

"Interesting", he said while finishing up.

"Humm? What is?", I asked.

"Your magic level is like someone who already knows More then basic magic? But your so young that's almost impossible", he said while taking off his glasses.

"It's understandable seeing as she was in a different environment", sans said looking over the notes.

"Yes that is a large factor that played in her development, you are good and well aside from the traumas on a few parts of your bones", he pointed at a chart with red circles on my arms and legs.

"that sounds bad, It won't affect me . . . Right?", I asked unsure.

"No, these should heal with no issues at all", he pat my head and handed me to sans.

"Kicking me out already old man", he raised an eyebrow.

"Toriel wanted you all to attend dinner and I need you to take (Y/n) out of the lab . . . It would be better for her to not remain here for an unnecessary amount of time".

"Right . . . Let's get going sis", sans took my hand as we walked out of the room and down a hallway.

It seemed to be getting darker and soon there was a dead end, "um Sans is this the wrong way?".

"Nah, it's a short cut~ you'll see", in a flash the hallway changed and we were in the castle.

"Huh?! B-but how . . Sans your amazing", my eyes sparkled as I looked up at him.

"Please, out of both of us your the amazing one", he looked at me with sad eyes.

"What do you mean", I tilted my head.

"Nothing, lets go before they start eating with out us". Sans always seemed distant  but he cared enough to feel empathetic, in time he may learn to care for me as a real sibling and not one by just name.
