Looking at the monitor in disbelief and a feeling of fear mixed with a sting of betrayal threatened to burst my heart if I had one.
My soul, what use to be something so bright and golden like the flower's uncle Asgore had in his garden were now a muddy color mixed with purple.
"W-wa!? No! There's no way that's my soul".
"Believe it skelly, your soul is yikes forever", Iris said not surprised.
In my state of shock and rage of what has become my soul I knew the one person who could fix this and who caused this.
"Iris . . That witch was her name Lin. . ".
Iris became quite as I felt their rage with in me, "you're not planning on doing something stupid are you?".
"Stupid isn't the word I would use. What I'm going to do is get Justice for what was done to me and you and my family".
Iris was shaken as they yelled suddenly, "w-what was that?!? What did you do! Our soul just became more yellow?!?".
"What?", a beep was heard next to me.
My soul was still connected to a wire free reader, and it was more golden than before, "Justice . . . My want for it made my soul a bit clearer".
"H-hey whatever it is your thinking don't forget I'm still in here with you", they warned.
"Iris show me where she captured you and maybe then I can figure out what she was planning".
With hesitation and a long pause Iris spoke, "the last thing I remember was some old looking place with purple walls and vines . . .".
"The ruins", my eyes started to glow, and my body was covered in a mix of Gold and dark purple.
"What are you doing!?".
"We're going in a trip", with a snap and a flash the cold was at my feet and the air was crisp with the smell of pine.
"Snow . . I didn't know there was snow here", Iris said sounding in awe but also a bit sad.
"We can play later, for now let's find out where she caught you", walking into the ruins from the snow paths gate I was determined to get Justice and persevere no matter what tried to stop us.
'For the future of my family and those children', I thought to myself as I felt Iris shift each time, we made a turn into the straight path of the ruins.
Iris's uneasiness grew till I stopped in the room that has leaves, "Iris you got quiet . . . it's here, isn't it?".
Looking out I could see the ground disturbed in many places, "I tried so hard but I wasn't able to figure it out . . . then I realized there was no solution".
"No solution . .", looking out I could see holes everywhere and none that connected to the end we were at. "Let me see", using bones I shot them threw the leaves and sure enough they all fell through exposing the pit below.
"so, this is how she got you . . . she removed the platforms", Clenching my fist I placed the platforms back and explored the area surrounding the puzzle.
"There! did you see it!", Iris blurted out.
"Gah?!? s-see what", scaring me I paused in place.
