Today was an important dinner party because. "Happy Birthday (Y/n)!". It was my twelfth birthday, "thank you everyone".

"Sissy! Happy birthday", Midori was now 5 years old and called me big sister which warmed my heart but what really made me gush over her was the fact she Was Adorable.

'You're to good for this world my sweet little angel'.

She had kindness like no other and alway's thought of others, the slightest change of emotion weather sad or happy she could detect in a heart beat.

"I made you a gift! but no opening it till later okay", she placed it carefully in my hands.

"I'll wait as long as you wish my princess", I gave her a kiss on the cheek as my thanks.

"Hehehe, stop it dat tickles".

"Hey, where's our kisses", Chara held out his box awaiting the same treatment.

"You get a kiss when you turn into a girl as cute as Midori, but that's impossible because no one will ever come close", I declared.

"That's not fair, you already have your heart set on her so how can I compete with that", he said dropping the gift next to sans pet rock.

"Don't listen to him (y/n) he's just here for the chocolate cake", Asriel had a small box in his hand and placed it with Charas.

"Alright children behave yourselves, this is a very special day after all", Toriel brushed off snow and had a sweet smelling pie with her.

'Oh how I longed for these pies', my mouth watered just at the smell.

"I know how much you missed the flowers so I got a few from my garden, I do hope you like them", Asgore brought me a Bouquet of flowers.

"I've missed your flowers~ thank you both for bringing these", papyrus helped me place the flowers in a vase while sans took the pie.

"Oh my, you've grown to be quite a tall young man", Tori said her hello to pappy.

"Thank you your majesty", he beamed a proud smile.

"In a few years you might even be able to join the guard", Asgore chuckled.

Papyrus had stars in his eyes and he went over, "do you mean it?! Oh how I would love being in the guard".

Cutting into the conversation I also spoke up about my dream, "I want to join too! we can be strong together".

To that everyone looked at me with an expression I could only call shock mixed with disapproval.

"no way, you're not joining if I have a say in this". To no surprise Chara was against it.

 "I agree, what if you get hurt? A lot of the guard members have scars and even lost some of there limbs". Asriel shivered at the thought.

Letting out an annoyed humph I pleaded my case, "well it's something I've wanted! I want to protect Midori . . . I have these powers so what good is it if I can't use it to protect her".

"(Y/n) that's enough, we already spoke of this", father placed his hand on my shoulder.

"No, You already spoke of it . . .", I mumbled. 

The king cleared his throat, "as a king I would love to train you but as your fathers friend and uncle I would also see why he's against it, let's wait a little longer shall we".

"REALLY!".

Gasters voice spoke over my excitement, "Absolutely not! That will be the last thing you do, it's to dangerous. I'm sorry your Majesty but I am not allowing this Absurd Idea of Her's".

Everyone was watching while papyrus was behind me holding my shoulder and the others stayed quiet.

I went threw many emotions from losing my excitement to slightly shaken to anger then sadness, " . . . What's wrong with it . ."

My question threw him off, "what?".

"I said What's So Wrong About My Dream! Just cuz your super old and bitter Doesn't Mean I Can't Be Happy With My One Wish!".

My face was stained with tears as I screamed out and as soon as I was done I rushed out the house fully enraged but also embarrassed and crushed.

"(Y/N)! Wait!", he tried to take hold of me but I put up a small bone wall delaying him shortly.

I could hear them calling for me from behind but I just kept running out of the town.

I was under a lot of emotions and didn't realize how far I had ran till I reached the very first Century point near the door.

'Oh great . .', cleaning my face with my sleeves I slowed my pace.

"I didn't bring my jacket . .", letting out a sigh I sat behind the Century station placing my head down and keeping myself warm.

I listened to the winds blowing through the forest and felt an odd tingling feeling in my chest . . I focused on the feeling till a sound of crunching snow suddenly appeared.

'. . . Big brother . . . He's never out of reach when it comes to these situations is he'.

A knock was heard at the station, "knock knock".

" . . .", I didn't reply only knocking back.

"Come on sis, knock knock", he tried again.

I let out a sigh and in a sad voice replied, " . . Who's there".

"Etch", he said delightedly.

". . Etch who?", I said not knowing where this was going.

"Bless you", he came around and gave me a tissue.

I took the tissue using it to clean my self more effectively and I scooted over and he took a seat next to me.

"How did you find me".

"You didn't notice did you? You teleported while crying so I checked familiar areas. I got lucky since you came here first", he placed his jacket over the both of us.

"I didn't notice at all . . I should work on that", I gave a half smile and he brought me closer.

"You're freezing, let's go back", he urged me to go but I shook my head.

"Just a little longer".

"Alright but if you get any colder I'm taking us back", I nodded and we sat there for a bit.

I closed my eyes again and I listened to the wind as it shifting trees. A feeling started growing, strange Yet familiar. No it sounded familiar, . . . like . . a cry?.

"H-hey?! (Y/n)!", sans shook me a bit and I opened by eyes.

"Huh? What . .", I was a bit out of it. He was looking into my eyes and had a really worried look on his face, "e-eyes . . Your eyes . .There blue".
