Undertale: giving soul

Midori day

When dad found out about First Princess Midori he had many questions and when my name joined the conversation his face went from careful wording to, 'my child did what'.

When I explained what happened he noticed something about me and told them to go home to rest and we would visit on the weekend.

"Explain in detail and don't leave anything out, you know it's better to tell me the truth now or I'll find out later", he took me to the home lab in the basement.

"Yes father", I always get nervous when we go into the labs.

We got down there and he started his check up, "start, I'll document the story".

"When the king went inside to help the boys I heard crying, the crying sounded like it was with in reach but in reality Midori was to far for anyone to hear", he checked my eyes and my souls for any irregularities.

"Go on".

"When I reached her she was on the flowers and a basket was smashed next to her, I healed her and she settled-".

Then I remembered the strange feeling and paused in the middle of my story, "what, why did you pause".

I shook a little and started again, "m- my body it felt like it was being pulled and . .  my eyes . . They changed color, I was able to see her soul with out . . You know".

"It's alright I understand ", he stopped his examination to sooth me.

"i saw her soul . . with out attacking. That's not normal but then again I'm not normal either. . . ", I looked up at him giving him a shrug.

"Well your DT signs have almost disappeared and I'm very close to getting it all out, it should be completely gone before your next birthday but . . I still worry for your abilities", he looked troubled and it was then I realized something.

'When he gets upset about anything involving me . . It's not that he's mad, he's worried . . Even if he seems like he's upset it's the thought of me being hurt that makes him that way'.

"I've controlled them so far, if there's any surprises I'll make sure to tell you Dad".

He gave me a nod and we both left the lab, "let's get something to eat shall we, there's still time before Papyrus gets home and sans is taking a nap".

When pappy got home I told him all about what happened but left out some details about me and my abilities.

"Wowwie~ so we have a new Princess", he was energetic.

" baby? (Y/n) how did you say she was found", sans questioned me since I don't have the best street credit with babies.

"W-well, we should ask his majesty, we are going over today to see her", I said trying to get out of it.

Sans didn't seem convinced but let it go, "are you all ready, we're leaving to the castle".

We nodded and left the house arriving to the castle to a wonderful surprise.

It was Baby Midori in a cute little puffy dress, 'my heart~ she's so cute'.

"(Y/n)!", I heard vary familiar voices call my name and hug me from behind.

"Ah! guys it's good to see you but your crushing me", I patted there backs and they let go apologizing.

"I'm glad you came my friend", Asgore said to Gaster.
