True colors

Chara sprinted at full speed my way glowing a bright red hue that was coming from his soul tackling me to the floor.

"Ugh!", I groaned.

"The reason you could never use mine was because I fell before you were born!", he hugged me tightly.

Struggling my hair started glowing the other colors of the younger children.

Chara yelled,"Because of that you were never able to use my powers".

He held me making me face him, "Gaster told me before if I ever needed to I would have to be the one to help you if all else failed".

His face came closer to mine and that's when I felt it. " Uh?!", a surge of emotion flooded my mind making me stop in my tracks.

"Chara!", Asriel called out worried for his brother.

"I'm alright! I'm just sharing a little of myself, Take the kids out now!", Chara said wincing.

In my head all I could see was chara's upbringing. Getting abandoned in the forest and looking for shelter in the mountain, tripping and falling as the ground gave in under him. Breaking bones from the high fall but still surviving.

I was crying as I felt everything he went threw, "Chara . . .".

"It's all right now", he soothed my back as I came back to my senses.

My hair was a full rainbow color and my mind was no longer hazed.

"Thank you for saving me", I said threw my tears.

He also brushed his away, "well it goes both ways unfortunately". He took in a deep breath before parting and froze as he looked down at my chest.

"What's wrong?", I followed his gaze.

". . . No . . NO! This wasn't supposed to happen!", he screamed holding me.

My soul was so consumed by madness after Chara saved me it looked like a cracked mirror and it was starting to erode, "Ah-".

"This can't be happening . .I WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU BETTER!" , he said sounding defeated.

"H-hey it's alright", I lied. "What if we go get dad!? I'm a bit weak but if you move fast I know he can help". Chara was hesitant to just leave me in this state but he had no other option.

"Alright but you better not dust on me", he kissed my forehead before leaving.

Alone with my thoughts I was face to face with the barrier and the power of seven souls and my half monster soul.

". . . ha- haha. . . Hahahah", I started to cry while laughing at the same time.

"In the end . . . It's better if I die to save everyone then them to die by my hands, my souls already given everything it could take", closing my eyes I levitated myself up towards the barrier with what remaining powers I had left.

I could hear running footsteps coming and a sudden call of my name. "(Y/n)!!".

With a final smile and a tear I said, "thank you". Before Releasing the built up power I had with in me.

A bright light and a huge sound of breaking glass was heard all across the under ground with ruins flying all around inside the underground.

Then there was quiet. "(Y-y/n)", papyrus was the first to get up and run to where I was. ". . . (Y/N)!! SISTER!! where are you! (Y/N)!! SANS DAD I CANT FIND HER!!! MY SISTER WHERE ARE YOU! ", his voice cried out in a heart wrenching pain.

Sans ran over as well seeing the bright light of the sun and the sound of birds falling to his knees next to his little brother, "bro she's . . Fluff ball . . She's gone . . ".
