A vacation~

After a while at home and major magic training with Sans and Dad, I had my magic somewhat under control now.

It was a long year but I was really good at blue magic and healing others although teleporting was still a work in progress, "(Y/n), don't forget to Behave when you're with the Roya Family".

"Yes father".

"Don't use your magic unless it's Absolutely Necessary", he warned me.

"Yes father".

He kept listing things since that one incident with baby Fuku, he said that since my power was still to strong for me to handle that I needed to be home schooled for the time being.

'At least he's letting me go with them since there passing threw town today', I was looking forward to this for weeks.

Papyrus was busy with school and Sans was busy with dad so they wouldn't be able to go.

'It's been a while since I last saw them, I hope they won't feel to awkward around me', playing with my hair pulling at the different colored strands.

My hair had small strands of gold from my magic training and father said it was unique to me.

'Is my magic that strong? I mean if even he's worried I guess it must be', hearing a knock at the door I shot up.

"There here!", I rushed to the door but pappy beat me to it.

"Hello Your Majesty's", he gave them a big smile and I jumped on his back.

"Your Here!!!", papyrus supported my unexpected attack and carried me as they came in.

"We're finally out of the cold", Chara was shivering.

"It wasn't that bad Chara".

"Says you!? You have fur".

'They never change', getting off papyrus I went over to say my greetings.

"It's nice to see you all again- I mean It's an honor to have his Royal Majesty and lovely Queen and young Princes in our home", I gave an elegant curtsy.

They chuckled and King Asgore lifted me into a hug, "you've grown again, it's good to see you in wonderful health".

Toriel brushed my hair from my face, "with every passing day you grow as beautiful as the flowers".

They always treated me with kindness and for a moment it feels like a warmth takes over my heart, 'she's such a mom~'.

They placed me down and they went to talk to Gaster while the boys and I went to catch up.

"How have the princes been since we last spoke! It's been so long~ I miss your mother's pies", papyrus drooled a bit.

"Actually I think we brought some as a thank you", Asriel said going with pappy to ask leaving Chara and I alone.

"So I got your letter . . Is it true", he was talking about my magic training and what happened when i first teleported.

". . . It happened a while back but yeah it's true, I wouldn't really lie about something like this", I said looking a bit sad.

"Has it happened lately? I know you didn't get hurt but how do you feel? Emotionally I mean?", he was genuinely worried.

"I was frustrated and sad but also mad, it was mostly at myself though", I gave a weak smile.

"I can help! So remember to count on me too alright", he had a little smug smile and looked confident in his words.

"Thanks Chara".

Pappy got my bags and packed some snacks we made together, "oh remember to call us if you miss us".

"Yes pappy~".

"A-and I can read you a story if you can't sleep!", he was clinging to my hand.

"Of course pappy~", I gave him a warm smile.

"If you get nightmares again you can come home whenever and I'll pick you up!", I took both hands and placed them on his face kissing his forehead.

"It's just for two weeks brother, I'll call you every night and I'll tell you all the things we do. I love you very much so don't worry to much alright", he looked like he was about to cry but nodded and gave me a kiss back.

"Try not to 'ruin' your new clothes in the old area~ we'll be here when you get back shorty", sans pat my head looking way to relaxed about me leaving.

"Like they said, call if you need me and if you have any 'unexpected accidents' I will come take you home", he handed me a small box with a bow.

"What's this?", I looked at it with curiosity.

"Open it when you can't sleep", that's all he said while having a slight red tint on his cheek bones.

'Huh? Why won't he tell me now?!'.

Nodding slowly I waved goodbye and we made our way to the ruins with escorts of the royal guard captain and local stationed soldiers.

Asriel and Chara held my hands on either side placing it in there pockets as we walked, "you're going to love the ruins (Y/n)! They're the most wonderful place to be ourselves with no worries about guards".

"We can also use magic without breaking anything", Chara added.

"Really, that sounds fun! Oh but I have to be careful with my magic . . Dad says it's to strong for me since im still small".

Toriel added to the conversation, "boys, (y/n) is a special type of skeleton and there hasn't been one like her in many years so do be careful when using magic".

She warned them and Asgore agreed, "during the war her type were most powerful of all . . . In the end they're the reason we still have so many monsters to this day".

"Whoa~ so there were skeletons with hair? Like me", I said with a smile.

"It was due to magic that hair like strands appeared", Toriel said enjoying my attentiveness.

It put a smile to my face and before I knew it we arrived to a large purple door with the Deltarune symbol.

"Thank you for escorting us my good friend, like alway your loyalty is greatly appreciated", Asgore said his thanks and sent them off.

The door opened with a creek and built up snow fell off the door exposing a dark hallway that looked  endless.
