We're different

Jisoo was right. The place was cheap! They quickly found the good but cheap fabric for the T-Shirt project with speedy working time and good printing quality.

Jennie was about to make the payment when Jisoo stopped her. Jisoo then haggled with the ahjussi. She asked for a lower price for what Jennie knew was already low. She's so embarrassing, please. Jennie thought but she secretly enjoyed seeing Jisoo haggling. It was funny. The ahjussi finally lowered their price and an obvious annoyance appeared on his face. Jisoo, on the other hand, was smiling victoriously.

She's so embarrassing, Jennie said to herself again. She's so annoying when she's smiling like that, please.

When they were already outside, Jennie said to Jisoo,

"I can't believe you did that??"

"What did I do? I was just trying to get us a good deal."

"Didn't you see him? He was annoyed!"

"Yes. And? That's the price of capitalism. You should adapt to consumers' behavior." Jisoo said with a wide grin.

"You're embarrassing." said Jennie while trying to hide her smile.

"But didn't you enjoy it?" Jisoo asked teasingly.

"Watching you oppressed the poor man ahjussi? I am sorry but I am not heartless." Jennie said with a pout, trying hard not to giggle.

"But seriously, I could get even a better price, hadn't you there with me." Jisoo said.

"Excuse me? How was that my fault? And by the way, the price we got was already ridiculously low."

"Look at you. You're a rich girl. Everyone can see. Actually the ahjussi gave quite a high price initially. But he can't fool me. I know this stuff." Jisoo said proudly.

Jennie was startled, "I am what? A rich girl?"

She saw Jisoo froze a bit before replying,"Yes. My world is different. That's why I know things you don't." Jisoo looked at Jennie with a wide grin.

Jennie suddenly felt utterly annoyed. Maybe because Jisoo's smile was indeed annoying. Or maybe because Jisoo said that they lived in different worlds.
