I wasn't the same after Ygraine left me.
I just... I was changed.
The thought of I woman ran off from me, I chased her away, she left... Becuase she didn't want me.
One of the main things I started was avoiding the woods like the plague I hated that place, it reminded me of her of the moments with her, of the firsts I gave her.
She was my first kiss, My first cuddle, my first... well she was my first. I gave her everything I could and it still wasn't enough. I didn't have anything else to give.
The girls in town reacted two ways, they either felt bad, they pitied me. Or they tried to take me in, like a lost dog to warm their bed till they were bored of me. I never took them up, either way, I didn't want it. The men just looked at me like a demon, like they didn't want anything to do with me they wanted me away from their daughters in case I made them run away too, if any time one did speak with me they just told me to get over it and get married to whatever girl who would take me.
I tried to talk to merlin but he had little advice on these things.
I started going to the inn at night after work, drinking my weight in ale and meed every night to get even a glimmer of hope of sleep.
And it was on... this night I met her.
