The nurse saw me there and shut the door behind her, she wiped her hands from where she had washed them she didn't have her things meaning she wasn't yet done she looked at me gravely before she kneeled closer 
"Romulus... I have to ask you something?"
"What?"
".... Romulus there are, Complications. Worse than with Arthur and Lisbeth. I'm not saying for sure but we could lose them. If possible... which should we save?"
I didn't know what to say, I had never even thought about it, never saw it as a possibility... I was frozen overwhelmed with emotion but given the continued screams from beyond the door, I knew she needed an answer. 
"Save her. please I can't live without her, whatever you have to do. save her" 
she nodded and rushed back inside shutting the door behind her, I collapsed onto the door and did my best to keep my breath steady, keep tears from falling listening to those horrid screams.
