"So, I guess it's your turn to treat me to drinks, Mr. Hotshot Producer," Namjoon says, grinning at the pale-skinned man in front of him.

"That's SUGA to you," the man replies as he takes a puff of his cigarette. "And stop acting like you're anywhere near broke."

"Come on, you're the one who got a high paying job at HYBE, literally the biggest music company in Asia, not even a month after graduating. I'm still unemployed," he prods further.

"And as far as I know, I'm still the one with college loans to pay off and you're still the one with generational wealth," his friend points out.

Namjoon just laughs. He missed being the dumb one and having Min Yoongi pointing things out for him. He's been so used to his subtle jabs and honest remarks as a part of his day that it felt like a year apart even though it's been less than a month since they last saw each other.

"Besides, this is your turf," Yoongi says as he gestures to their surroundings. Currently, they were at the rooftop bar in Gangnam that Jin invited them to the last time they went out drinking. "You're going to be the one paying for this overpriced shit."

"Ouch! Our menu is definitely not overpriced," a man says, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. It takes a moment for Namjoon to recognize him as Hoseok.

"Hoseok, this is Yoongi, my friend from college. Yoongi, this is Hoseok, my cousin's friend and the owner of this bar you were calling overpriced."

"I'm sorry. That was a joke," Yoongi says while rubbing the back of his neck, giving Hoseok a sheepish smile.

"No worries. It really is overpriced, but that's just the Gangnam standard," Hoseok says as he holds out for a handshake. Yoongi shakes his hand.

"Let's make your first round of drinks on the house," Hoseok continues. And with a wink and a bright smile, he walks away from their table. Yoongi trains his eyes on the man for a moment before turning to Namjoon who just gives him a shrug.

"So I guess that's settled, then," Namjoon says with a triumphant look. He was just messing with Yoongi when he was convincing him to pay for their drinks, but it didn't hurt to get the real thing. "Where are you staying now, by the way?"

"I got this two-bedroom apartment in Hannam dong one of my bosses referred me too. The rent's okay, but I was thinking of getting a roommate to set-off a few thousands," Yoongi replies.

Namjoon was going to ask why he needed a roommate when he was sure Yoongi's job payed well enough for him to live comfortably, but then he retracts it when he remembers what Yoongi just said awhile ago— he still had college loans.

"Maybe I should be your roommate," Namjoon jokes instead.

"No," Yoongi replies immediately. "Why the hell would you downgrade from a penthouse or a mansion or wherever it is you live in? Besides, you snore too loudly."

"Fair point," Namjoon says with a grin. And with that, the both of them continued drinking and chatting away, the way they used to in the basement bars in New York.

When Namjoon wakes up the next morning, he's surprised not to have a hangover, but then he realizes he's going to be late for his meetup with Chaeyoung. They were going to bike along Han River this morning.
