EP 03 - Jungkook, you dumbass

Dahyun's POV

When I get back to the table, I immediately fish out my phone from my purse and compose a message for Jihyo.

DAHYUN: About that partnership for your startup, I'm interested and I want to learn more about what you have planned.

I know that a lot of my acquaintances are in the startup industry, but this is my first time actually considering joining.

Heck, even Jungkook has already founded a startup. At this point, I don't get how he manages to do a lot of things while still being the typical party-loving playboy that he is.

It also helps that Jihyo mentioned it being a tech startup, which is more in line with my skillset and knowledge in data science and management.

I immediately get a reply.

JIHYO: Jinja? Yay, I can't wait! Do you want to meet up tomorrow afternoon?

JIHYO: I can give you a rundown of what we have in mind so you can decide if you want to join.

Tomorrow? Wow, Jihyo seems really excited about this.

I don't have anything planned for tomorrow so I agree to meet up. Jihyo replies with a suggestion for where and when we'll be meeting up and I just go with it. We were going to catch up with each other anyways.

"Hyung, congratulations on the internship!"

I look up to see Jungkook nearing our table, with Sana close behind. It looks like she's glaring at him. I wonder what they argued about this time.

But now that they're here, we can finally start drinking.

More than two hours, two martinis, and eight shots of tequila later... wait, was it just eight? I think I lost count...

Our table is now one of the loudest in the bar. But I think it's okay because the bar has become way busier anyways. There are more people than when we started and I see some people already dancing on their tables.

Damn, I really thought this would just be a chill night.

Jin and RM are giggling like teenage girls while they watch V try to sing Fly Me to the Moon in English. It's funny as heck, but I can see that he's earned a few admirers from other tables.

I then feel Sana turn to hug me again. She's sandwiched between me and Jungkook and right now, it's obvious that she's already drunk because she's way clingier and touchy than usual.

I then feel the need to use the toilet so I nudge Sana towards Jungkook so that she'd hug him instead.

"Kookie!" She says while flinging her whole weight on Jungkook.

"Confess," I mouth while wiggling my eyebrows at him. I know Sana is totally oblivious to everything at this point.

I've been teasing him and his feelings for Sana the whole night and she hasn't even noticed.

I try not to laugh at how funny Jungkook's expression was while heading towards the comfort room.

"Yah! Why don't you go get laid already so you'd stop messing with me?" He calls after me.

Jungkook's got a point. It's been two years since Eunwoo. Maybe it's time I de-stress.

Okay, so I might have stumbled a few times on the way to the bathroom, but I didn't know the effects of all that tequila would hit me this spontaneously.
