Jin took a seat at their usual spot in the small cafe in Hannam-dong that he and his cousins always hang out in.

No one was here yet, so he ordered his favorite latte and scrolled through his Instagram while waiting for the others. However, he immediately regretted this.

Jin's POV

Why did I even open Instagram? Now I can see exactly how unaccomplished I am.

My classmates from college are all posting about their graduate studies abroad. A lot of them are taking their master's degree together in London. Even RM's friend, Jackson, recently enrolled in Princeton.

Me? I'm stuck here in Seoul, all because I wasn't able to pass the TOEFL. All because I'm not fluent in English.

I just finished my first year under Master's in Business Administration at Seoul National University. SNU isn't bad though. In fact, it's one of the top universities in South Korea, but it's not what my family was expecting from me.

Our family owns Kim Enterprises. We're often described as a chaebol, but we're one of the smaller ones, unlike Samsung and LG.

Still, me and my cousins are put under so much pressure to be the perfect, accomplished heirs they want. And I have to carry the brunt of it just because I'm the eldest and next in line to be CEO.

It's ironic because I'm the weakest among the four of us. I'm not a genius like RM. I'm not outgoing like Dahyun. I'm not decisive like V.

But at least I have my looks. I'm worldwide handsome, you know?

"Hey, is this yours? I saw it on the floor."

My sister's voice pulls me from my thoughts. I look up to see Dahyun holding sheets of paper.

"No. What's that?"

She sits down beside me and hands over the sheets of paper.

BigHit Summer Internship Application Form

"I didn't know that BigHit is finally accepting interns. They're extremely strict there," I say to Dahyun.

"Oppa, why don't you apply? If you get the internship without using any of our connections, I'm sure appa will finally stop bugging you about working on your English this summer," she suggests.

BigHit used to be a small stock trading firm, but over the years, it managed to grow into one of the top firms in Asia. They don't accept fresh graduates, which is why their internship program is targeted towards graduate students.
