"Yeah, I'm fine ever since you showed. Why're you asking?" Namjoon leans on his counter, clicking his pen and started to doodle a bit.
"Oh. Um. Can I visit you from work? Me and Tae aren't really on good terms right now..." Jeongguk speaks from the phone.
"Shit. Yeah. You can visit, that's perfectly fine. My customers are low today."
"Thank you. I'll be there in a few seconds."
Namjoon blinks. "In a few sec—?"
The door dings, making Namjoon look up from his paper with his brows knitted. Jeongguk appears right in front of the door, nervously smiling at him. Namjoon lowers his phone from his ear and ends the call since the person he was talking to is in front of him now. From the last time Namjoon saw him, he had full head of hair. Now it's a full on buzz cut.
"Damn, the fuck happened to your hair?"
Jeongguk chuckles, walking up to the counter in front of the older male. He nervously rubs his buzzed head. "I cut it all? I don't know..I just got sick of it."
Namjoon couldn't help to laugh, putting his pen down to cover his mouth with his hand. "Holy fuck! You look like you just got fresh out from the military!"
Jeongguk just chuckles again. "Well, at least I donated my hair to cancer kids and for people that can't grow hair. That's the only sweet part about it."
"You look amazing bro." Namjoon smiles softly, leaning back on his chair. "Did Taehyung like it?" He crosses his arms—not in a rude way.
"He did like it. Ever since I got it cut, he kept touching my head out of boredom."
Namjoon chuckles. "So. You going to tell me the issues in your little household of yours? About Tae?"
Jeongguk sighs, messing with his index ring. "Yeah. He keeps being distant with me and..he gets annoyed every time I worry about Yoongi. I mean..I can't help it. It's normal for myself to worry about Yoongi, right?"
"You and Yoongi are like actual brothers. You grew up with Yoongi—he should understand that. Yoongi grew up in a way that makes you worry like a big brother of his." Namjoon replies. "Taehyung should at least accept that—like, if you bring him up a lot..I would understand how annoyed he is."
Jeongguk nods, understanding. "I told him everything about how I met Yoongi and you..and how stupid I acted when you started calling him Yoonie—god, I'm so sorry for that. I was just overly protective with him in the past."
Namjoon scoffs, placing a soft hand on Jeongguk's shoulder and a small massage. "It's alright bro. I thought you were acting like a father figure to him at first."
Jeongguk chuckles and shakes his head. "We were just young and plain out idiots..." He sighs, looking at the older. "Hey, um..do you know how Yoongi's doing?"
Namjoon's smile fades, moving his hand away. "I..don't know as of now. I ran into him a few times but..it's nothing much. He seems like he's doing well." I'm sorry, Jeongguk. I have to lie. You came here for you.
Jeongguk nods. "I hope he is. I've just..been worried about him ever since you saw him again."
Namjoon smiles small. "I know you are." He sits up and clears his throat nervously. "So. Tell me the odds about Taehyung being distant with you."
"Right. Um..like, when he gets off work, he hangs up his coat, asks me how work was for me and just..goes silent on me. Usually, he gets home he goes to bed because tattoos take a while. For his odd behavior, he just kisses me on the forehead and goes to bed, saying goodnight and such. He doesn't even tell me about his day anymore."
Namjoon curls his brows. "I hope he isn't falling out of love."
Jeongguk blinks. "What do you mean?"
Namjoon shrugs. "Just..the love for you he has starts to fade out of no where—how long have you guys been dating?"
