"Where's Namjoon?"
Jackson looked up from his writing, looking at Yoongi and then glancing back down at his paper. "He's working. He volunteered today."
Yoongi curls his brows, walking over to him. "Wait, no no. H-He has a throat sore. His tonsils are swollen."
Jackson looks at him, raising a brow. "What?"
"It's no lie. He's supposed to stay—I told him to stay, even if he wanted to volunteer."
Jackson puts his pencil down, nervously rubbing the back of his neck from his thoughts. Namjoon volunteered because he doesn't want Yoongi to know right now and be distant for half a day. Should Jackson even tell him his supposed to be 'parents' showed up?
"Yoongi, it's been months since you've stayed here." Jackson spoke up, looking at him. "Are you supposed to go back or what?"
Yoongi flutters his eyes. "What..what do you mean?"
Jackson gets up from the couch, facing the smaller male. "We need to talk about something."
Yoongi backs up, knitting his brows to see his movement in behavior. "Why are you acting so strange to me? D-Did they show up?"
Jackson walks up to him. "Yoongi, listen—"
Yoongi backs up again. "I-Is that why he's at work? He's just avoiding to tell me what happened? Are you kidding me?"
"Yoongi-ah, please listen to me."
Yoongi shakes his head and turns around to go to the bedroom. He grabs his ripped black jeans, slipping them on and slipping off his shirt, putting on a fresh one. Jackson walks up to the doorframe, brows staying curled. He didn't know what to really say.
"Did they show up? Both of them?" Yoongi grabs his own jacket, looking at the male.
Jackson lowers his eyes, biting the inside of his cheek. "Yes."
Yoongi deeply exhales, putting his jacket on and zipping it up. Jackson moves out of the way so Yoongi could go through, waking over to the main door. Jackson follows, knowing the smaller male is upset and mad about the Woo's showing up without Yoongi knowing.
"H-How were they? To Namjoon?" Yoongi asks.
"They..we're slightly rude to him..about you."
Yoongi clenches his jaw, looking down at his shoes and slips them on, twisting the doorknob open. "I'll be right back."
"Yoongi, no—" Jackson walks over to him and softly grabs his wrist to stop him from leaving. "No, you can't bother him right now, he's working."
"He said I could visit him at anytime." Yoongi glances down at the hold. "L-Let go of my wrist..please."
Jackson curls his brows, letting go of his wrist. Yoongi backs up to leave the house and closed the door behind him, starting to walk towards where Namjoon is. Jackson just stood there, fluttering his eyes down. I shouldn't have told him. I'm so screwed.
Namjoon fiddles with his fingers. How am I going to tell him? Your uh..supposed to be parents came over and basically told me that I'm not letting you grow up? Namjoon scoffs, putting his pen down. No. It sounds stupid. The Woo's showed up at my door and basically said I'm bad for you like Jeongguk used to say. He groans, lowering his head.
The door dings, making Namjoon lift his head back up. He widen his eyes. "Y-Yoonie." He quickly gets up from the chair. "What are you do—"
"They showed up, didn't they?" Yoongi stood in front of him, brows curled with tears in his eyes.
"Wh-What do you mean?"
"St-Stop trying to hide it!" Yoongi yells. "They told me to leave you, didn't they!?"
Namjoon didn't know what to say.
