Hermione Granger was curious. She wanted to know everything about everybody. She was able to because she was quiet. However, if she could choose one thing she wanted to know about one person, it the would be who Draco Malfoy liked. Not to make fun of him. Not to tell the person. Not to get revenge, though that would be nice. But Hermione Granger had feelings for the platinum blonde. Don't ask her how but she did.

But because of that, she was determined to find out who Draco Malfoy liked.

Hermione would never do this, but when her curiousity got the best of her, she just let her impulsive thoughts take over. She ran to Slughorn's classroom and quickly took out a empty vial and filled it up with the potion she needed.

Hermione seen Goyle walking along the hallway with tons of food in his hands. Hermione knew she wasn't going to have a ton of chances like this.

"Stupefy!" She yelled.

She stunned Goyle and quickly dragged him into the broom closet that was lucky enough to be there. She grabbed a handful of Goyle's hair and quickly put it into the vial.

She ran to the bathroom quickly drinking the potion. She could feel the changes happening in her body, she hated it. She changed into different shoes and Slytherin robes. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw that she looked exacly like Goyle. She looked really ugly. She ran out of the bathroom to go and find Malfoy.

It took her nearly 10 minutes to find him but she did and she was ready and prepared herself for Malfoy's answer.

"Mal- Draco, I have a question for you." She asked, quickly catching herself and cursing herself for that mistake.

"What is it, Goyle?" He asked.

"Who do you like?" She asked.

"Since when did you become to interested in my love life? Besides, it's none of your business!" He told her.

"I just would like to know. I won't tell anyone!" Hermione pressed.

"Fine, I like Granger." He said, turning around as blush found it's way onto his cheeks.

"Y-You like the mudblood?" She said, hoping it sounded convincing.

She didn't have time to prepare before Malfoy punched her in the face. She could feel her eye starting to swell and she knew she had to get out of there. So she quickly turned, muttering sorry, and took off running. She waited until the potion wore off before she changed, quickly fixed her hair and tried to cover up her swollen eye. If she went to Madam Pomfrey she would ask her where she got the injury and she didn't want to get Malfoy in trouble. There was no spell that would cover up her eye, all of her makeup was up at her dorm and she knew Ginny would ask what happened. So she just walked out quickly making her way down to the Great Hall.

Draco was sitting down at the Great Hall eating and chatting with Crabbe and Blaise. He seen Goyle walk up and sit down looking kind of dazed.

"Hey, Goyle, sorry for punching you, I just got kind of upset." Draco apologized.

"What are you talking about?" Goyle asked, turning his head.

Draco forced himself to swallow the gasp that was wanting to come up. Goyle didn't have the mark he made when he punched him and Goyle had no idea what he was talking about. That meant someone charmed themelves to look like Goyle. Or used Polyjuice potion to act like Goyle . . . and that meant someone knew his very guarded secret.

He tried to finish his meal without thinking about the whole Polyjuice thing but it was impossible. He looked up when he seen a certain Gryffindor wandering in the Great Hall . . . with a swollen eye.

Draco jumped up, ignoring Blaise's questions, and ran over to her. He grabbed her arm and practically dragged her out of the Great Hall. She didn't fight or say anything. It's like she knew this was coming.

"What is your problem, Malfoy?!" She yelled at him, trying to brush her hair in front of her swollen eye.

"You stunned Goyle and used his hair for Polyjuice Potion, didn't you?" Draco asked anxiously.

"That is a major accusation, Malfoy, don't you think?" She said, crossing her arms.

"This is no time for games! I'm serious! Did you do it?!" He pressed.

She looked down. "Yes."

"Why?" He asked, putting his fingers under her chin and lifting her head up to look at him.

"Because I'm in love with you, I have been since the start of this year, but I was scared, I wanted to know who you liked so I thought maybe I should try using Polyjuice potion and using one of your trusted friends, so I did. I didn't think you'd punch me but I had to call myself a mudblood to play along." She said, trying to look down again.

"You should have just asked me! I would have answered!" He told her.

"I'm sorry." She said, with tears in her eyes.

"Hey, hey, hey! No need to cry! You didn't do anything wrong! I would have done the same thing if I was that brave. I'm sorry for punching you, but don't call yourself a mudblood. Just because my aunt branded it on you does not mean that defines you! I love you so much!" He said, just letting the emotions pour out of him while pulling Hermione into a hug and wiping her tears with his thumb.

"Thanks, and I love you too." Hermione said with a warm smile. She looked down at her watch.

"I have to go, I'm meeting Ginny because we haven't hung out in a while."

"That's okay, want to meet at the library tomorrow?" Draco asked.

That made her smile grow wider. "Yes! I'd love too!" She said happily.

She started to turn around but then she turned back around and went on her tip toes and kissed Draco on the nose sweetly before quickly running away with a smile and her cheeks red.

Draco was smiling for the whole day and his friends couldn't figure out why.
