emotions. pain, love, happiness, sadness, anger, and everything in between. maybe if we were in a different universe, we could have been lovers. maybe get married and have kids. you could teach them the muggle things you grew up with. hermione, i'm sorry for how i treated you. i know i was a git and i never deserved an second of your attention. but i want to say sorry for everything. hermione, you're my moon, my sunshine, my stars. you're the reason i get up every morning, the reason i fall asleep quickly. i think i realized i was in love with you when you punched me in the face. i know, really romantic. i was so embarrassed, but when i went to bed that night, i looked forward to seeing you the next day. i knew something in me shifted. you caused a wave of emotion and feeling to smack me in the face. hermione, i have many regrets in life, but my biggest one is never telling you that i love you. and now it's too late. hermione, i should've known that the war had broken you. it broke me, too. there are so many what ifs. what if i stopped you? what if i talked to you on the first day back to hogwarts? would you have killed yourself then? would you still be alive? im sorry that i wasn't there to save you. hermione, i love you, and i'll see you soon.

draco sobbed uncontrollably. she was gone. she was gone. she was gone forever.

he put the rose he brought on her headstone. he wondered if he'd ever heal from this.

every part of him screamed at him to kill himself, so he can join her, so he wouldn't have to go through this agony of pain.

draco pulled a vial out of his pocket. he uncorked the vial and brought it to his lips.

all he has to do is swallow, and every bit of pain would be gone. he would see hermione once again.

he took a shaky breath and swallowed the contents in the vial.

he collapsed next to hermione's headstone. just like juliet did when she found out her lover, romeo, was dead.
