Date night

It's currently Tuesday and work
seemed to drag on. Advik and
Harsh came, they were their
usual fun selves. Soon it reached 6 and ayesha went home.

I stayed behind, writing down people I need to contact for wedding venues,
flowers and caturing.

I wrote down names, numbers
and prices as I called each person
so the next time I met with advik
and harsh we could talk about it
all. I yawn as I kept writing, today's
been a long day.

"So, you usually stay here until this
time?" I heard a voice and I jump
back in my seat. "god" I mumble
once I saw who it was.

"You shouldn't be here sidharth"
I scold, shutting the book and he
laughs. “Well, I came to ask you out
for dinner. It's on me” he says and
I roll my eyes.

“Look sidharth, I appreciate your
commitment but this is ridiculous.
I'm just a woman” I say and he eyes me.

"A beautiful woman that I would like
to get to know"

“So you can leave me in the street
again?” I ask, packing up my laptop
and desk. "Well that's not my plan
but if you don't come with me I'll just
have to kidnap you" he shrugs and
I stifle a chuckle.

"You're not on good terms with me
Sidharth, don't push it” I sternly
say, finally packing up the last
of my things.

“I'm serious shehnaaz. Just for
tonight and if you really can't
stand me I'll disappear from your
life forever but at least give me a
chance” he says and I sigh. I do need to get out more, his sister is such a sweet person.

"Fine, you get one more chance" I
give in and he smirks. “Great, lets go”
he says, coming closer and grabbing
my arm and leading me out.

I grab my purse and turn off the lights to my office as he drags me away.
"Can you let me lock up?" I ask as
we get to the door and he laughs.
"I wont mind that"

"Thanks" I mutter as we get outside,
he let go of my arm and waited looking around the empty streets
while I locked up.

"Okay, done. So where are we
going?" I ask, starting to walk away.
He looks down at me and smiles.

"It's a surprise"

"Okay, what about my car?" I ask, as
we head to his car...it looked fancy
but I really know nothing about cars
but I'm assuming it's expensive.

"Well, afterwards I can drop you
back off here so you can drive
home or I can get someone to pick
it up and drop it at your house and
I'll drive you back to your place"
he shrugs, opening the passenger
door to his car.

"I'll see how the dinner goes" I
respond, he nods and shuts the
car door before going around and
getting in the drivers side. I took time
to look at his perfect side profile, the
cut jawline and strong features.

"Are you done staring?" He asks
and I was snapped out of my gaze.
“Uh....just drive” I sigh and he laughs,
starting the engine.

“So.....where's this surprise dinner?”
I ask, eyeing the handsome man next to me. I loath how attractive he is.

"Well, there's this restaurant owned by a Mexican family, Mamas Mexican restaurant. My family have become quite close to them and I think you'll enjoy it there" he says with a smirk. So he's a family man.

“Okay, my expectations are high. It
better be bloody amazing” I shrug
and he laughs.

“Let's make a deal, if you don't like
it there I owe you...whatever you
want” he says and I tilt my head, to
look at him properly.
