Shehnaaz

It's currently Thursday and it's been
about a week since everything's
gone down and I've had a lot of
time to think but my opinion hasn't
really changed.

I've gotten used to the security and everyone's tried to get in contact with me but I keep ignoring them.

Advik and harsh have an appointment today but I'm going to keep it professional.

I'll talk to sidharth and everyone
eventually I just want to be normal
and not face the truth for as long as I
can.

I don't care if I'm running from
my problems, I just need to think.
"They're here" ayesha smiles and I
nod. "Tell them to come in"

She walks away to go get advik and
Harsh.

I know I can't tell ayesha but I feel bad because she might become a target too. She's beautiful and young, her whole lifes ahead of her so there's no need for her to get caught up in all this too.

I also had to tell her the security was because someone broke in and I technically wasn't lying.

If he didn't enter my office none of
this would've happened.

"shehnaaz" I heard advik's voice and I
look up to see them entering then
closing the door.

"Hello. How about you sit down and
we'll continue to talk about your
wedding plans" I smile tightly, being
professional. They both cautiously sit
down and I open the planner.

"So, I'm assuming you know who
you want for your wedding parties?" I ask and advik nods.

"Yeah, we're asking them tonight and
we're getting out the invitations" he
smiles and I hold back mine at the
excitement I felt.

"So, today we'll talk about people such as, photographers, videographer, caterer, florist and musicians. I've got a lists of people you can use unless you've got some people of your own like a close friend who's a singer etc." I say and they nod.

"Shenaaz, can we talk?" Advik asks
suddenly and I look between them.
"We already are. We're talking
about your wedding. I'm keeping it
professional and it's nice to see two
people in love. I'm happy you have
that happiness, trust and loyalty" I
say slightly passive aggressively.

"Shehnaaz, I know you're just doing
your job but-

"There is no but advik, I'll talk when
I'm ready" I interrupt and he nods.

"Okay"

"Good, now the next step" I continue.
Today's going to be a long day.

Advik

Harsh and I left shehnaaz's office, nodding to the 2 security guards outside. We get into his car and drive too the estate where we said everyone needs to be so we can talk to them.

"Do you think she's going to forgive
any of us?" harsh asks as we drive
off and I shrug. "I don't know but I
think she knows she'll have to talk
to sidharth eventually but I don't
blame her if she can't go through
with it. The mafia lifestyle isn't
for everyone"

"Yeah, I agree" he says and I nod.
"Are you okay? You've been acting
weird recently"

"Yeah, just tired that's all" he yawns
and I laugh, placing my hand
on his thigh.

"I love you"

"I love you too advik" he smiles.
We pull up and get out of the car.
"You ready?" I ask and he nods. We
walk into the estate together and
they're all sitting down, on couches
in the small room by the entry.

"Finally, you're here! What's up?"
Parth asks as we walk in and mahi eyes us both.

"You're not breaking up are you?!"
She gasps, standing up and everyone
looks over at us concerned and
Harsh laughs.

"No, never"

"Good, I would've forced you two to
get back together and go to couples
therapy" she shrugs sitting back
down and I chuckle.

"So, what do you want to say?"
Yash asks and I look at harsh and he nods.

"I'm worried about shehnaaz"

"I really need to know how shehnaaz is?" mahi speaks up. Everyone went
quiet and I sigh.

"I really don't know, she didn't say
much except that she's just our
wedding planner and that's it. Maybe
she'll come around" I reply, not too
enthusiastic.

"Or maybe she won't" sidharth
shrugs and sanket rolls his eyes,
"Sidharth, I'm talking to you as
a friend right now, if you care about the woman, show her" he says, trying to be supportive and Sidharth groans,

"Since when did everyone get to start
having an opinion on my love life?"

"Sidharth If you really care about her
that much you wouldn't be sitting
around here complaining that she'll
never forgive you, you'd be there
already and begging for forgiveness"
Mahi tells her brother and with
a huff she walks out, giving harsh
and I hug and harsh isn't far behind as they both exit.

"She's not wrong, boss. The mafia
will always be here tomorrow but
she might not" I tell him honestly,
I saw the look in shehnaaz's eyes today.

She's overwhelmed and anxious,
she needs to talk to sidharth and
by the looks of sidharth, he needs
to talk to her.
