∆Chapter∆ 7

Annie POV.
The very next morning at dawn we were brought to the underground crystal cave to receive our titans.We received them in the order of which we came on the stage yesterday so I was second to last to receive mine.I was brought in a white dress in front of the current shifter that was chained high up.The look on her face was by far the saddest look I've ever seen.It was like she lost all hope and was just excepting her end was coming.She must have remembered some things from her life because a tear fell down her face.Not long after another person brought the serum in a syringe.I stared at the purple liquid, it looked so beautiful when the light from the crystals illuminated it.My mind was somewhere elsewhere when my sleeve was pulled up and the needle was injected.My eyes widened as the yellowy green lightning stroke and I started to transform.My mind was lost for a moment, I couldn't think of anything, like I had no mind.Through my blurry eyes I saw me reaching out to grab the human in front of me.She was screaming and crying.I brought her close to my mouth and ate her.The sound of her bones crushing under my teeth was the only thing I remembered before everything went black.

I woke up after god knows how long.I was met with the face of my father looking down at me.He smiled and waved a little.His gaze shifted to my body and I lifted my head a little only to see Mikasa sleeping with her on my chest.Just then I realized now much weight was on my chest.I moved my head to look around the room, noticing it was only Marcel and I awake.I waved a little to him and he smiled.Porco was sleeping on his legs so he couldn't move either.Father stood up and said he'll be back tomorrow to pick me up.He went to wake up Mikasa but I stopped his, telling him to leave her here.He just nodded and left without a word.I lifted myself a little just enough to adjust my pillow.I saw a tray was brought to us but decided to wait until she wakes up so we could eat together.Porco woke up and it didn't take her long before she woke up too.Maybe it was because she couldn't sleep anymore or maybe it was because i was dangling a piece of meat with her favourite sauce on it.Who knows?She woke up and immediately hugged me asking if I was alright.I smiled and said yes.I then invited her to lay with me so we could eat.She got off of me and want around the bed, sitting in front of the tray.She then took a piece of meat and put it on some bread.She brought the piece close to my mouth.I groaned.
"You know I'm not that tired, I can still feed mysel-"I was shut up completely when she took the opportunity when I opened my mouth to put the piece of bread and meat in my mouth.I sighed excepting defeat and just ate whatever she feed me.She ate as well and then got to lay down with me.By now all of the ones who were still asleep woke up.Bertholdt took the longest to wake up, witch was expected.We watched the sunset before going to sleep.

Morning came and father cane to pick us up.We took a little walk through the town because he wanted to show me off, probably.The sun was still rising when he dropped me off to training grounds where we were going to be taught how to control our titans, while he and Mikasa went back home.Mikasa was quite upset about leaving but he promised he'll bring her back later to watch the training.He's been a lot nicer lately, I wonder what's his deal.Anyways, when we me and the rest off the unit arrived we were met with Mister Ksaver.He was still the beast titan since Zeke's ceremony will be held when our training is over.It was always like that, one titan will be left to teach the others how to control they're.He greeted us with a smile and said we'll begin with some easy stuff first.Like how to transform.

We were about half a day into our training when we decided to take a break.Mister Ksaver praised us for doing such a good work even tho we did almost nothing but transformation and moving boulders.We heard shouts coming from the gate area and saw our families standing there, supporting us.Our break ended and we went back to work.Everyone was watching us so we were sure to do our best to impress them.At least that's what I was going to do because I knew Mikasa was watching.I transformed and was assigned to destroy the 'enemy' base.I moved fast and with a quick but deadly hit broke the entire base.The others then went and transported the rocks to assigned place, where they will later be used for rebuilding the bases.The training grounds were a really large field so at one point we were required to move further away into the training grounds so our families and other people who came to watch couldn't see us anymore.We were going to be staying in the military facility that was built far into the territory of the training grounds until we were done with our training so we weren't going to see them very soon.I already missed Mikasa.

In about two weeks we were completely done.Some of us took longer to learn then others.Last night we said goodbye to Mister Ksaver as he left with Zeke to the place of his demise.We were getting ready for the big military plan announcement ceremony.We were again split into two carriages and lead to the big stage again.Standing on it were General Theo Magath along with some other notable military generals.We one by one bowed down a little out of respect as we took our positions on the stage.One of the generals took a step forward.
"General Magath has been watching and documenting the warriors progress and determented that they are ready for the most important mission of they're lives."the crowd went into gasps and whispers.He stepped back and general Magath stepped forward.
"We will be sending our warriors to Paradise to retreat the Original titan!"he announced.The crowd went nuts for a moment before he shut them down.
"The mission will be performed by the Colossal titan, Armoured titan, Female titan and the Jaw titan!"
"The preparations and final training will start now and they will be sent away in a week!"
With that he got off the stage and we all followed behind him.While the others went to discuss this I went straight to him.He looked at me and asked me what I wanted.I bowed my head before going on one knee.
"I beg of you to let one more person be sent with us on this mission."I said still looking down.
"Oh?And who this person might be?"A hint of amusement clearly present in his voice.I looked him directly in the eyes.

"Mikasa Ackerman."
