∆Chapter∆ 22

Mikasa POV.
Abou a month passed since the whole festival thing and I couldn't be happier. Thing with Annie weren't too much different from before but they were significantly more enjoyable when you know every moment was spend lovingly. We'd spend days in town or the forest, nights cuddling. Some days we'd spend with our friends. Some days we'd do nothing but lye around and do apsollutly nothing and just relax. Others we'd talk about everything that happened and was going to happen. Those were some emotional nights. Eventually the training for new Warrior candidates started so the current ones had to go back to training again. Porco and I also did the basic training because we had no titan powers. When we had breaks we'd either watch the others train they're abilities or watch the new candidates trian, usually comparing them to our friends. They weren't bad by any means but they didn't come even close to them. The ones that did show off however didn't really have a potential to hold soch power as that of a founer. But it has only been a month. It was still too soon to judge. During this month Marley launched attackes with the retrieved titans and crushed down some of the smaller foreign countries. General Magath said it was only a matter of time before every lang on this side of the sea will be concurred by the Marley empire and before long, Paradise island as well. There wasn't much stopping them from launching the attack right now. If it wasn't for the fact that the Colossal titan was at the enemies mercy and the large number of untied countries attacking us they would have attacked by now. But that was beside the point. What was important now was to train our forces to the point of power they possessed before the mission and find a suitable candidate for Eren's titan powers.

"I want you three to visit him" general Magath's voice was loud and clear, yet I couldn't help but ask him to repeat himself.
"I want the three of you to visit him in his cell. Talk him though what has happened and what was about to happen to him. He deserves to know. That is the least respect we could provide the Original titan."the three of us exchanged looks.
"What abot Zeke sir?"Annie asked.
"Shouldn't he be alowed to meet his yunger brother?"
"He will have a specal talk with him. For now I'll like you three to talk to him, as for you were once the ones he called comrades." We all share a collective sigh.
"All right. We'll see what we can do." Reiner said. He was the most hesitant of us all, as in he still wasn't and probably never will be over Bertholdt's death. He still blanes himself on every wrong thing that happened. And while from ones point of view in isn't a completely wrong assumption he could have never predicted how things were going to turn out. No one eve could... We made sure to watch him closely since he was obviously depressed and potentially suicidal. I honestly felt really bad for him. We left the office shortly after the generals commands. I went to walk up to Reiner but before I could Annie already put a hand on his shoulder.
"Look man... I know me and you didn't have the best relationship with eachother over the past few years. But I want you to know that... You shouldn't blame yourself."he looked shocked that something came out of her mouth, as they fought with eachother for years.
"No one would have predicted what happened. With Marcel, Marco and Bertholdt. I miss them too but I've learned it's best to let go. If you hold onto them for too long you'll do nothing but harm to yourself. If it's easier think about it this way." Reiner looked like he was going to burst into tears any moment now.
"Marcel and Bertholdt are out there, somewhere in the path. When our time here ends we'll be with them again, this time for entirety." Reiner couldn't hold it in anymore. Me motioned for me to come as well and we all shared a hug.
"If you're not ready to see him right now we'll cover for you."I said.
"No" he said while wiping the tears. "This will come sooner or later. And I'll rather get this over with as soon as possible...Thank you Annie, for making up with me after all those years and...I also want to be at piece with they're deaths as well." I nodded.
"Tomorrow then. We meet up and go together." Annie said. We hugged him for goodbye.
"Come on you'll get through it. I know you can."I said.
"You know for a Armored titan you are quite a softie."Annie said grinning. We all shred a laugh and parted ways with him. When we were far enough I asked Annie if he'll really be okay.
"We should definitely worry but I think he'll get through it. He's tougher than we think."

"I can't do this, hell nah I can't do this."Both of them repeated as we were standing in front of the door that lead to Eren. I sighed and slaped both of them on the forehead.
"Listen here you two. Let's just please get this over with. I know it's hard for the both of you, it's hard on me as well but the sooner it's over the sooner we can go home and just clear our thoughts." They shared a look and nodded. Sighing again they motioned for me to go in first.

Upon opening the door we were met with just a regular prison cell. There were two guards who we kindly asked to leave. Eren was curled up in a blanket. It was very much obvious he was chained to the bed with specal restrains so he couldn't injurie his arm and transform. He didn't bother looked up or shaking off the blanket to see who came to visit him. We looked at eachother. Eventually Reiner stepped forward.
"H-Hey Eren, it's me... Reiner." As soon as he heard the name he immediately shoot up from the bed, being stopped by the restrains from getting any closer.
"What the hell are you doing here you bastard!?" He suddenly stopped in his steps when he saw Annie and I.
"What the hell are you two doing here...Don't tell me...Annie, Mikasa you're..."
"Yeah...I'm the Female titan and she's the one who helped me kidnap you." His eyes widened.
"What do you want? Haven't you already done enough?"he said beyond pissed.

"We just want to talk."
