I don't know how long I have been working alongside Mobius, as time passes differently in the TVA. I would say that Mobius and I were good friends if it wasn't for the fact I was a Variant. There was a few people who didn't trust me, like Judge Renslayer and Hunter B-15. But I seemed to be on good terms with the majority of them. I was allowed to use a small amount of magic, so every now and then I would change my hair to a diffferent shade of green.
I was currently in the Aix-En Provence in France 1549 with Mobius. "The hunter and his minutemen responded to a rountine Nexus event. It appears that when they arrived, somebody got the jump on them." Mobius informed. "You think?" I said sarcastically. "It's him." A male hunter said. I crouched down and inspected the bodies. "Yeah, stab wounds look consistent with the others. Positioning of the bodies indicates they didn't know what hit em." I said. "And the reset charge is gone." Mobius added. "That's the sixth attack this week." The hunter cried. "That we know of." Mobius said. Suddenly, a small girl ran past, but we caught her just before she got away. Mobius went up and spoke to her in French, then sent her on her way. "The branch is nearing the red line. We need to go." The male hunter said. "Okay." Mobius said. "Set a reset charge." Mobius said. He and I stood next to each other as the hunter set a reset charge. A door opened and a guy in a suit stepped through. "Sir, there's something you'll want to see." He said, handing him a file, with a quick glare to me. I looked down at the file and almost burst with joy when I saw it was Loki. Mobius looked at me. "Freyja, I want you to wait in the theatre. I'll meet you there." He instructed.

I waited in the theatre for Mobius and thought about Loki.
I thought about what this Loki's nexus event was. I thought about our last words to each other. I wondered how he was going to react upon seeing me. I also wondered how much of a pain in the ass he was being.
My questions were about to get answered as I heard the door open.

"For the record, this does feel like a killing me room." He said, not noticing me yet. "Not big on trust are you?" Mobius asked. "Never was big on it, am I right?" I said, alerting the God. "Freyja!? What are you doing here? You're meant to be on Asgard?!" He cried. "Good to see you too Lokes." I smiled. "I've told you before. Stop calling me that!" He smirked. I embraced him in a hug. "What was your nexus event then?" I asked, curiously. "I stole the tesseract and escaped whilst the Avengers were trying to gather the Infinity Stones." He said. "What about you?" He asked. "I died." I said simply. "You died! Why how?" Loki questioned. "Maybe we'll save the reunion for later Freyja." Mobius advised. "Right, of course." I said, sitting between the god an the mortal. "What do you want from me?" Loki asked impatiently. Mobius inhaled. "Well let's start with a little cooperation." He asnwered. "Not my forte." Loki said bluntly. "Really? Even when you're wooing someone powerful you intend to betray? Come on." Mobius pressed. "You don't know anything about me." Loki said. "I know, but she does. Maybe I'd like to learn. I specialise in the pursuit of dangerous variants." Mobius started. "Like myself?" Loki asked. "Mmm, more particularly dangerous Variants. You're just a lil baby mouse." Mobius finished. Loki looked very unimpressed. "I got a set of questions for you. You answer them honestly, and then maybe I can give you something you want. You wanna get out of here right? So we'll start there. Should you return, what are you going to do?" Mobius asked the God. "Finish what I started."
"Which is?"
"Claim my throne."
"You wanna be king?"
"I don't want to be, I was born to be."
"I know, but king of what exactly?" Loki scoffed, and I continued to watch their interaction. "You wouldn't understand." Loki said. "Try me."
"Midgard."
"Aka Earth. All right. Now, you're the king of Midgard. Then what?"
"Asgard, the Nine Realms."
"Space?"
"Space?"
"Space is big. That'd be a nice feather in your cap. 'Loki, the King of Space'
"Mock me if you dare." Loki threatened.
"No, I'm not." Mobius said with a chuckle. "Honestly, I'm actually a fan. Yeah. And I'm wondering why does someone with so much range wanna just rule?" Mobius asked. "I would have made it easy for them."
"People like easy."
"The first and most oppressive lie ever uttered was the song of freedom."
"Oh yeah? How's that one go?"
"For nearly every living thing, choice breeds shame and uncertainty and regret. There's a fork in every road, yet the wrong path always taken." Loki explained.
"Good yeah. You said 'nearly every living thing' so I'm guessing you don't fall into that category?" Mobius commented. Loki chuckled and I just watched. "The Time Keepers have built quite the circus, and I see the clowns are playing their parts to perfection." Loki muttered. "Big metaphor guy. I love it. Makes you sound super smart." Mobius said with a smile. Loki frowned. "I am smart." He defended, causing me to laugh a little. "I know." Mobius said. "Okay"
"Okay" Mobius finalised as he fiddled with the projector. A whirring sound signalled it had came to life. "What's this?" Loki scoffed. Mobius grinned. "A collection of your 'best bits' if we will." Mobius smiled, earning a sigh from Loki. I thought I'd leave them to it, so I got up to go and grab some food.

I went to the lunch hall and got three cereal bars and a carton of juice.
When I had got the items and was walking back I noticed Hunter B-15 running around. She noticed my green hair and I heard her call me. "Variant!" She cried. "Where is Mobius?" She asked. "In the Time Theatre 5, I'm headed there now did you wan-" But she ran off ahead before I could finish. For some reason, I felt myself running after her.

"What are you doing? Really? This again?" She asked from the doorway. I squeezed past and sat back in my chair. Mobius just looked done. "We have a situation." She told him and he sighed reluctantly. "There's always a situation." He turned to Loki. "Don't go anywhere, infact, Freyja, I want you to keep an eye on him please? It was just getting good. Spirited." Mobius said, before leaving Loki and I alone together.

He looked down at me, then eventually sat back down. "You said your nexus event was that you died. How did it happen?" Loki asked sympathetically. "So I assume you got taken from the Battle of New York 2012?" I asked, and he nodded. "About a year after, Thor brought his girlfriend Jane to Asgard because she had the Aether in her. Because of New York, Odin had you locked in the dungeon. The Dark Elves, led by Malekith invaded Asgard to get her, and they killed Frigga in the process. It was only then, that Thor, Sif, Hogun, Fandral, Volstagg, Heimdall and I decided we would break you out of the dungeon and take Jane to Svartelfheim and fight Malekith there. Odin had forbidden any entering and leaving Asgard, and with my persuasion, Thor allowed us to get you out. When we were onSvartelfheim, we got the Aether out of Jane, but Malekith had absorbed it and ran off. Thor went ahead and tried to get Malekith, but a group of dark elves had surrounded us. Once we had finished fighting them, I noticed Thor struggling with the biggest elf. I told you to wait with Jane, and I helped Thor. I successfully killed it, but then it killed me before it died. That was when you and Thor came over and tried to stop it from happening. Literal seconds before I properly died, the TVA came and took me away. Mobius helped me out and said if I helped him work, then I wouldn't have to be reset. I've been here since." I finished with a small smile. Loki looked at me confused, "I don't understand, how is dying creating a nexus event?" He asked. I looked to him sadly, "Because it was meant to be you." I told him. "You were meant to die that day, but then it turns out you didn't die and it was a trick, so you had posed as Odin for six years." I explained. Loki just looked astounded. "These files are on your life. Your past and would have been future." I explained. "Have a watch." I offered, gesturing for him to take a seat. He sat and watched. He watched Frigga die and how I had ran to her before she hit the floor. He froze it on her dead body, and that caused us both to let out a tear. He then watched as Odin said his final goodbyes before he died. Then it showed us saying our first I love you, and Thor saying nice things about Loki. It cut to Thor, Valkyrie, Loki and I, standing on the Rainbow bridge, ready to defeat Hela. It showed another moment between Thor and Loki, which earned a chuckle from him. Then I saw Thanos and tears began to fall, Loki gave me a worried look, then focused his eyes back to the screen. He slowly stood up, when he realised what was going to happen, he slowly walked forward and I trained my eyes on Loki's reaction, I heard mine and Thor's muffled screams as Thanos picked up Loki. I watched as his face transitioned from shock, to sadness and anger. I could hear my sobs and nudges and Loki just watched intently. I wiped my tears away when it said end of file. But to my concern, Loki started laughing.
"What's so funny?" I heard Hunter B-15 ask, but he continued laughing. "Glorious Purpose." Loki spat sarcastically.
