***A/N*** Hey guys! Back again! This chapter is shorter but I do have today and tomorrow off work so I'm going to try to get at least one more chapter out in this time if not two! Also, all the books mentioned in this chapter are totally real and worth checking out! Okay, toodles! xx
-----------------------
"You don't work today right?"
Lee looks through the kitchen at me. I sit up on the sofa a bit so I can actually see him.
"Nope," he says, "Why? You have something planned?"
I smile at him and Lee raises his eyebrows, "Oh, you do have something planned. Is it a fun something...?"
"Go get dressed and find out would you?" I laugh.
Lee sighs, "Not as fun as I thought it would be if it includes clothes."
"Go get dressed, horny bastard,"
"You're not even dressed!"
"Do it for me? Pretty please?"
Lee huffs and finishes the dishes before going down the hall and into our room. I roll off the sofa and shuffle into the bathroom to get dressed myself. It's nice out. Hot but not overwhelmingly so, meaning jean shorts and a really big brown jumper that Mum mailed me not too long ago.
My parents and I haven't really spoken since the war. They say that they don't have an issue with me being gay, with me living with a man, loving a man, but I know they do, at least just a little bit.
Lee knocks on the doorway and I turn around, "You look good," he says to me, "Casual academia."
"These are just my normal clothes love," I laugh.
"Fine, don't let me compliment my boyfriend."
I laugh and cross the small bathroom, pulling Lee in for a hug and pecking him on the top of his head, "Thank you," I whisper to him.
"I love you," he whispers back.
"I know."
He pulls away and slaps my chest, "That's not what you're supposed to say!"
"Come on darling, let's go," I take Lee's hand in mine and pull him along with me.
We take the scenic route to Diagon Alley. Neither of us has been in a while so I figured that it was due time. Just because we haven't been living in the wizarding world doesn't mean that we can't visit every once in a while.
"There's a really cute coffee shop that just opened up," I say to Lee.
"A coffee shop in Diagon Alley? Do wizards even drink coffee?"
I shrug my shoulders, "Probably not. But it sounds cute, 'Jack and the Magic Beans."
Lee snorts, "Jack and the Magic Beans? That's the dumbest name for a shop..."
We walk through the Leaky Cauldron, waving at a few people I sort of recognize from Hogwarts and enter the Alley together.
"We know a bloke that owns a shop called Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and you're going to judge Jack and the Magic Beans?"
"That's different."
"How is it different?"
"We love and support the bloke who owns Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes."
We walk a little ways more, then turn a corner. Lee squeezes my hand, "Speak of the devil."
Standing in front of us, at the end of this bit of the Alley, is a very bright purple and orange building with three big 'W's on the front. What used to be a massive smiling, moving animatronic of our best friend is now stuck in one position, hat halfway off its head, staring ahead like it's waiting for something.
