***A/N*** Hey guys! Back again with a shorter Violet POV! The next few chapters are going to be a lot so keep an eye out for notifications! I want to be back sometime later today with another chapter but I've got some school things I have to do and I really need to hit up a grocery store LOL. Till then, Toodles! xx
--------------------------
The last time I saw Emma was five months ago, and a lot has changed since then.
Freddie is now actually starting to say full sentences, the shop is doing so well that we actually bought another storefront in Hogsmeade, Ginny and Harry did in fact have a son and he is named Albus Severus much to Ginny's slight annoyance, Ron and Hermione had their first child, little Rose Granger-Weasley, and Draco and Astoria had a son.
Scorpius Violet Malfoy.
My Godson.
"He looks more like Draco every time I see him," I say to Astoria as I hold him close to me. The poor girl hasn't been able to get out of bed since she gave birth and Draco has been worried sick. But the main thing is, she survived. They both did.
When Scorpius was born, Draco was a nightmare, accidental magic happing in every room he was in. At first, I thought it was Freddie, who as he's grown has fully turned into his fathers son and at this point I'm not even sure if the things he's been pulling around the house are in fact accidental.
He was a small, frail baby which scared us all. I mean this kid was half the size and weight that Freddie was. Course the midwife that came out from Saint Mungo's said he would grow up perfectly fine.
"Godric I know," she says, her voice just above a whisper, "I nearly died for the kid and he can't even be bothered to have my hair colour."
"You never know, some blonds turn brunette with age," I say as I look at a sleeping Scorpius in my arms, "You'll just have to wait till he's like thirty to see it happen."
Astoria smiles weakly, "He's perfect though. Just like his Daddy."
"Are you sure we're talking about the same man here?" I ask her and she laughs, "I love Dray, I really do. But perfect?"
"You're hard on him," Astoria laughs.
"I've got to be. Imagine what he'd be like if I wasn't there to call him out on his bullshit for all those years? A menace to society."
Astoria sighs and looks at Scorpius asleep in my arms, "Can you be honest with me for a second?"
"When have I lied to you?"
"Do you think I can do this? Raise him the way he needs to be raised? Merlin Vi, I can't even get out of bed right now and it's only going to get worse as he gets older... he's going to need a Mum, not some witch laid up in bed all day."
I shrug my shoulders as best as I can with a sleeping child in my arms, "Maybe you get up out of this bed soon or maybe you have to stay in here longer. Either way, you're going to be a fantastic Mum and this little guy is going to adore you. And hey, if you ever need help G and I are only an owl away. And I'm sure that Freddie is going to love spending time with his little cousin."
"Mumma come wif me," Freddie says as he struggles to climb onto the bed that Astoria and I are in, "No mo' baby."
"Freddie darling, Scorpius is sleeping. You have to be quiet," I say to my son, "Babies need a lot of sleep."
"I baby, not Sorpees," Freddie pouts out his bottom lip.
"Where's your Daddy? I'm sure he can play with you."
