Elliere sat on the floor, his mind swirling over the fact he had a date with her! With Mercy. He couldn't remember feeling this giddy over anything, not even with Layla. Of course, he'd never had a date with Layla. Actually, he's never had a date...
Oh no...
Elliere stood up rapidly and began pacing, running a hand through his shaggy black hair. He's never had a damn date. Lupus really didn't date, they just...were together. Elliere hadn't been interested in anyone other then Layla and with Layla he already knew so much about her and had a connection with her, that it was easy and simple. With Mercy, it was entirely new and different.
Fück.
What was he going to do? He didn't know how to date or court or whatever. The only human he knew of was Drew the fücking bartender and he was pretty sure Drew wouldn't give him advice. He'd assume as old as Elliere looked that he would have some experience by now, no matter how minimal.
Unless...
He could talked to Rori. She had been practically human before her Lupus genes kicked in. He hadn't talked to her since she told him she was pregnant, a few months after the battle with Claire and the Jaecars, but he still had means of keeping in touch with her.
He moved in search of his phone since they no longer shared the temporary bond. He had no use for it once the Jaecars had been wiped clean so he'd broken it. Finally finding his cell, he quickly dialed Rori's number.
He listened to it ring five times and thought for sure she wouldn't pick up, but then suddenly her voice came over the other line.
"Hello, long lost uncle Elliere," she said over the phone mockingly. "So good of you to finally call, obviously you've read your texts or you wouldn't be calling as I'd still be in Lupus form, pregnant."
Elliere winced. He really should call his only Lupus friend more often and visit her family for once. "Hey, uh, Rori. I'm sorry I haven't called... I've been distracted. I promise I'll visit soon, but I, uh, need your advice."
"My advice? What would you need my advice for?" She sounded shocked now and Elliere couldn't help, but grin. He was older than her by quite a few years, but this time he really did need advice about something that he didn't know about.
"How to go on a date," he murmured roughly.
"A date? Have you met someone?" She asked, a happy, excited tone in her voice while Elliere heard the squeal of children in the background.
"Erm. I just need the advice, if I have or haven't met someone isn't important," he grunted, probably sounding far more aggressive than needed.
"Okay, okay, but if you have met someone I hope you bring her here soon," Rori said, amusement in her voice.
"Rori..." Elliere stressed.
She laughed lightly. "Well, I hate to tell you this though, but I never went on dates when I was in high school and thought I was human. I met Roman and awakened my Lupus side soon after and joined their pack. I can't really help."
Elliere groaned into the phone and began pacing in worry.
"But," Rori spoke. "My friend, Bree, might be able help you. You remember the Witch who helped us defeat the Jaecars?"
"I do," Elliere murmured, his voice more hopeful now. Not all was lost it seemed. He really would have to visit soon.
