Elliere walked home with Mercy that night slowly and sweetly, a grin worn on his face. He'd learned so much about her. He learned she liked to read, she liked her tea black, she loved to stay in and have a movie night but also loved to go out and party. He learned she hadn't had many boyfriends, but the ones she did have had hurt her like he thought. He'd growled at that, hating they had hurt her. He learned she wasn't all that frilly, but wasn't a tomboy and he learned, by the end of their date, that she liked him and would go on another date. He learned that she wanted to go to college and be a vet, she wanted kids at some point, she wanted an actual human marriage. She liked to dance in the rain and take long hot showers after and drink hot cocoa. She loved to play in the snow and go shopping. She liked to take pictures to store her memories. She liked to camp and hike.

She was beautiful and he liked her even more because she was simple and basic. She was perfect to him and he knew even when he seen all her flaws, he would love her.

The thought had his heart beating faster. Love.. he could be in love again. It was an exhilarating feeling, knowing he could fall in love again and have someone to love... have someone love him.

He stumbled over his feet at his thoughts, making Mercy giggle and it was the most gentle music to his ears. He grinned back at her and he watched her smile slip as her eyes widened. He heard her heart pick up and knew she was looking at him, attracted to him.

Of course she's attracted to you, she slept with you already!

I wish I could remember that...

Elliere shook his head at his thoughts and heard Mercy murmur something.
"What?" Elliere asked, having not quite heard her.

"I said I'll see you around. I've got to walk home from here," she repeated and he stopped, whirling around.

"See me around? Walk home? Alone?" Elliere's voice sounded harsher than he intended. He was just protective of her now, he wanted her... a lot and imagining her walking through the forest alone made him angry.

"I...uh...yeah. It's what I normally do," she said, hazel eyes wide.

"Not anymore," Elliere grunted. "I'll walk you and I'll see you tomorrow. I'll come to your house at 3 o' clock."

Mercy looked as if she were impressed and a small grin was on her face. "Very well. I'll lead the way then."

Elliere smiled then, holding out his hand for her to do just that. He had to act like he didn't know where her house was. As he thought back to that night he stumbled upon her house, memories suddenly popped up of her naked form. So slim, slender, but with just the right curves. And his mark on her. Oh god, that really wasn't something he should be thinking of.

Elliere held back a growl of lust at his rising erection and quickly tried to think of something else, anything else. But with Mercy sashaying in her navy dress in front of him, he was finding it an extremely hard task. He could just imagined kissing her neck, sliding down that zipper and thoroughly inspecting the smooth skin underneath. Kissing his mark, hearing her moans. What would she sound like? Smell like? Taste like?

Elliere groaned out loud then as his member had swollen to an impossibly large feat and rubbed painfully against his jeans. His groan caught the attention of Mercy and he quickly shuffled about so she wouldn't be able to see the bulge in his pants.

She stared at him, a bit confused, before continuing on her way. Elliere cursed himself for such thoughts, but it was hard not to be attracted to her and the half of the bond he'd created with her didn't help exactly. It pulled him to her more than any other female and it would always do so. Once the bond was completed, which he was making sure it did, then Mercy would struggle with wanting to touch him all the time too. It's just how the bonds worked. They tamed down over the years, but it would always remain strong and unbreakable.

The further they walked on a road Elliere hadn't noticed until after he'd managed to stop ogling Mercy, the darker it became as more and more trees surrounded them. He frowned at the thought of Mercy taking this road all the way into town and back often. It was dark, you couldn't see much aside from her phone light in human terms and anything could be living in the woods. Though Elliere knew nothing severe was in the forest as he'd jogged through it and ran in Lupus form at night, he was the scariest thing unless someone happened to follow Mercy home after work.

"You walk home often?" He asked, disturbing the silence around them.

She nodded. "Yeah, I live pretty far into the woods. The house was made by my grandparents and I couldn't bare to part with it and my mother didn't want it. I save on gas by just walking, the woods are peaceful."

Even worse, she lived alone.

"The forest could be more dangerous than you think," Elliere stated lowly. He hated she lived alone, hated she walked and risked her life.

Mercy giggled then and stopped walking to turn, facing him. Elliere could see her wide grin and her eyebrow raised with his Lupus sight. "More dangerous than you?"

Elliere rolled his eyes then. "No, probably not. But there are people who could have bad intentions for you."

"Well there hasn't yet. I've been walking to and from this house since I was little."

Thank god for that...

Elliere shook his head and noticed that she was actually pointing at the very house he'd come to on that night he'd let his animal form out. He couldn't believe they'd made it here already, but he didn't have the time to wonder as Mercy began moving towards it.

"Are you gonna come in or not?" She asked, smiling softly.

Come in? He didn't remember saying he'd come in, just walk her home, but if she insisted...
