Nini's pov

"Well, I-I'm not a virgin." I simply said.

"Um, okay. We are seniors in high school. Most of us are not." Carlos told me.

"No.. uh, you don't understand. I um- EJ and I never did it." I admitted.

"Wait- so you didn't want to do it with me, you always said you wanted to wait, but you've done it with Bowen?" EJ was getting angry.

"No, it wasn't with Ricky either."

"So what? Did you cheat on one of them?" Ashlyn asked with a laugh, but I did not answer, instead I looked at the ground and kept silent. When she realized it, she stopped laughing. Everyone looked at me confused and in shock.

"Wait.... did you?"

"Um.. I guess you can say that.." I whispered.

"Sorry- what?!"

"So, all this time you've been mad at me for cheating on you and you're telling me that you did the same thing to me?!" EJ was mad.

"I never said I cheated on you."

"Wait- so um, you-you cheated on m-me?" Ricky asked quietly and slowly.

"Ricky-"

"Answer."

I was too weak to answer so I just nodded and I started crying again.

"You told me you loved me."

"And I meant it."

"Really? Because this is not love!" He shouted.

"And what do you even know about love?! Huh?! You never really loved m-"

"Every idiot knows that if you love someone, you would never hurt him or her."

"You see.. another evidence that you never really liked me. Because if you did, you wouldn't break my heart."

"Why are you upset now? I have a right to be mad, not you!"

"You can't even imagine how long I've been waiting for this Ricky... the day when I'll finally be able to tell you what you did to me! How much it hurt!"

"I already told you I'm sorry many times! But, I haven't heard you ever apologize for what you did."

When he said this, I started thinking about it for a while, there was silence until I said without shouting: "I'm sorry Ricky. I really am."

"Why did you do this to me?" he told me sadly.

"Trust me, I'd rather not do it."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I didn't have a choice."

"What? Nini, what happened?"

"Neens, tell us."

"What do you mean?" everyone began to worry.

"I can't tell you."

"You have to tell us." Kourtney said. "One it's your secret and you have to tell it and two if it's what I think it is.. then it's serious."

"I told you everything. Really. I cheated on Ricky. That is all." I explained.

"And who was it?"

"It was... well- I can't tell you, Ricky. I'm sorry."

"Are you serious?" he asked me angrily.

"You don't have to know."

"You're kidding, right? You cheated on me and you don't think it would be fair if you at least told me who?!"

"If you knew everything it would be worse. You would break his nose as soon as you saw him at school tomorrow. You would be expelled from school an-"

"So he goes to our school?" he asked.

"I don't want to talk about it."

"Well that's a shame because I want to."

"But I don't!" I shouted as a tear rolled down my cheek. "And I won't talk about it."

"Unbelievable.... so we will ignore the fact that you totally betrayed me?" I didn't answer him because I don't want to talk about it anymore. "Okay, it was your choice." he said quietly and started walking out of the room, he was almost at the door, but my confession stopped him.

"I was raped."

At that moment, he turned to look me in the eyes. Everyone else looked at me with a lot of different emotions. Some looked scared, some looked sad, some looked confused.

"You-you were w-what?" Ricky said as he walked back to me.

"I didn't want. But he was just.. too strong. I tried to run away, I swear I tried, I tried to scream but no one heard me. And then..." I cried in panic.

"Hey..! Hey, look at me. Right at me. I'm here, it's fine." Ricky said as he grabbed my hands. Then he hugged me tightly. "Take your time, okay?"

"Would you mind telling us what happened?" Ash asked when we pulled away.

"Um, okay... well uh, we were at a party, it-it was the first party I w-was at. Everyone drank, they were a-all drunk. I-I went to the bathroom and- um.. and when I came out he- he was waiting there, he was very drunk and he wanted me to give him a ki-kiss, I said I-I didn't want to and he uh- he grabbed my hand and went to a room with m-me. He made me.. he made me lie down on the bed and I-" I cried.

"It's alright. We're here." Kourtney took my hand.

"He.. he lay down on me and I screamed but no one heard me and I didn't want to! I really didn't want to!"

"We know, we know."

"When he left the room I-I immediately ran home. I didn't even tell any of y-you that uh I was leaving, and the next day you- you were mad at me for leaving without you."

"We're sorry." Seb told me.

"Why didn't you tell us-"

"Why didn't you tell me?" Ricky interrupted Kourt.

"It's a long story." I replied.

"Nini," I looked into his eyes. "Talk to me."

"It happened a few days before uh- before our breakup. You know, I've been- crying all night, thinking about wh-what happened, and I-I realized how lucky I am to have you, be-because you would never do something like that to me."

"Yes that's true!" He agreed.

"That was when I realized I loved you. I told you and I-I planned to tell you what happened but you uh, you didn't say it back but you-you broke up with me. When I- when I needed you the most." I finished.

"I had no idea. I just wasn't ready to say it but you know you're one of the most important people to me. You should have told me."

"But why didn't you at least tell me? I'm your best friend." Kourtney looked at me confused.

"I was ashamed. I felt disgusting. I still feel that way."

"Nini..." Ricky tried to grab my hand but I took three steps back.

"Don't- please don't touch me..."

"Nini.. are you afraid of me?"

"I just- whenever someone touches me, I see him and his hands touching me."

"You know we wouldn't hurt you." Seb said.

"Come here..." Ricky said as he reached out his hand. I didn't know what to do. "Nini, just trust me. I won't hurt you, you know that." When he said that, I slowly grabbed his hand. He pulled me into a hug. At first I was scared but after a while I hugged him tightly and cried in his arms.
