The Alchemy Professor | Severus Snape

Chapter 4

Note: In this story the story line won't be the same with the book. Also the dialogues will be different. I intend to publish at least a chapter a day until September except if I will be in vacations in August with my family. However, the chapters will be a lot and if school starts I will be able to write only the weekends. However, this is a problem for an other time, so... enjoy !

Reader's P.O.V 

I wake up. I slowly open my eyes and take a peek of my watch. I get up and take a quick shower. 

After having finished my shower, I dry my hair with a spell. I love casting spells during my morning routine or generally for many chores. 

I do my usual make up. ( eyeliner and a same-color-with-my-lips lipstick ). I wear a black dress ( imagine it as you wish ) and my black dramatic cloak.

I look at myself through a mirror. Oh Merlin, I look magnificent. Severus won't be able to look elsewhere except of me.

Wait a minute...

WHAT DID I JUST THINK ?

OMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGG

Do I like him ?

No, he is a bitch... Of course not.... 

But...

I shake my head. " Lily... He still loves Lily. Remember that Y/N. " I speak alone agreeing with my words.

I leave my quarters and head towards the Great Hall for breakfast. However, I change my mind.

I need to speak with Katie. She will tell me what to do...

I run to her chambers because my half-blood friend teaches Muggles studies... It is a real mystery how a Slytherin agreed to do this but anyway...

I knock on her door.

" Coming. " She shouts. 

I wait until the door opens. Katie still wearing her pajamas glances at me. " Oh it's you. Thanks god... " She says relieved.  I smile at her while walking in.

Katie starts doing her make up. 

" Do you need anything ? " She asks me while applying foundation.

" I think that I may or may not have a little, totally innocent, crush on Severus. " I tell her.

Katie's eyes widen. " You'r' kidding. " 

" No, I am not and you know that very well. " 

A sigh escapes her lips and she nods. " I do; indeed. "

" What should I do ? " I ask her desperate for an advise.

Katie locks eye contact with me through the mirror. " Well, at least the guy you want will spend so many hours with you... I can't even see Remus by being stuck here. " She responds a little angrily.

It is my time to sigh. " I told you to ask him for a date during summer but you were 'afraid of rejenction'. " I retort.

Katie finishes her make up and enters her bedroom to get dressed. I follow her and sit on her bed.

" Yes and then I told you to ask him if he likes me. It is your friend after all. " 

I roll my eyes. " It would be a little suspicious, don't you think ? "

Katie puts her skirt giving me the angry look which means 'I know that you are right but I don't want to admit it.'

Silence follows. Katie is ready so we walk together to the Great Hall. 

" I think that you need to pass time with him, be polite with him and help him as much as you can. " She whispers as we enter the big room.

I nod and wink at her. A devilish smile appears on her face when we see Severus eating oblivious. 

" Go get your boy. " Katie whispers next to my ear.

My eyes widen while my cheeks reddend. " He is not my- " I try to protest but stop when I catch him looking at me. 

" That's not little Y/N. You like him a fucking lot. " Katie remarks.

I would respond but we finally reach the professor's table so I take my usual seat next to him. Katie sits on the other side of the table.

" Morning. " I wish him and start eating.

" Morning. " He greets me back.

" So.... I have the 5th and 6th period with the 7th years and the first from the 2 evening periods with the 6th years. " I inform him. ( I saw a firt-year schedule on Instangram for the periods)

" Very well. I have first hour with your favorite student. " He exclaims.

I raise an eyebrow. I like lots of students. Fred and George who are doing the best pranks ever. Percy who knows everything...

" Who ? " I question.

" Harry James Potter. "
