Chapter 39

Hello,

I couldn't update yesterday but I am here today and that's what counts.

So, I wrote this chapter via my phone and I think that I am writing better and faster this way so I gonna keep it like this.

I need one hour to update my story with a chapter of nearly 500 words including this notes but with my phone I needed one hour and a quarter for these 1016 words without counting the note.

It's better for me with less spelling mistakes because I have auto correction.

Question of the chapter : You prefer using the phone, tablet or computer ?

Reader's P.O.V :

I am in Spinner's End. Sitting on my armchair a peaceful night.

Or so I thought.

The night in the beginning was indeed peaceful.

Me and Severus. Both reading a book in silence, enjoying each others' presence.

Until an owl came and everything seemed chaotic.

An owl with a letter wrapped on its leg, taps gently the window.

Severus places his book on the table after having marked the last page he head read to open the window and let it come into the house.

The owl rests on the table of the living room.

I set the book aside curious of what brings the little black animal here.

Snowflake (he is still alive Katie, this cat isn't going to die, starve maybe but not die) glances at the owl intensely.

Severus takes the letter from its leg and reads it quickly. The moment that he finishes, his face becomes pale with eyes full of concern and worry.

" Darling, is everything fine ? " I ask confused.

He shakes his head. " No. Things aren't fine. First, the return of the dark lord, second this. Things are far from right. "

I frown. " What is it then ? " I inquire grabbing the parchment to read it.

It's from Dumbledore.

My heart skips a beat. Why did he send a letter instead of calling us for a meeting with the rest of the order ?

An emergency.

Oh no. What did those death eaters do again ?

I bite my lip and start reading the note.

He wrote it fast. Very fast. It is noticeable by the characters.

When I reach the end, I am in a pretty similar state with Severus.

Dementors. Away from Azkaban. After Harry.

No. No. No. Severus is right. This is far from good.

I don't like it at all.

Harry, fortunately, knew and casted successfully the patronus charm but what if it was a muggle ?

His muggle cousin was also there the moment of the attack. How would Petrunia and that other guy that I constantly forget his name react ? (The guy is Vernon)

Harry also got expelled. Well, better expelled than having been kissed by those beasts.

I can always help him by doing classes outside school with Severus and McGonagall, Hermione can be very helpful during the summer but...

It won't be the same with being at Hogwarts.

Dumbledore said that he will speak with the ministry and the minister himself for a trial.

However, he is not very fond of Cornelius Fudge due to disagreeing about Voldemort's return.

I am worried about the outcome.

" The order will probably have taken Harry to Black's. Let's go to see how he is doing. " Severus suggests.

I nod.

We go to our bedroom and get dressed. I quickly put on (a pink dress, haha, no, only Umbitch wears such things) a blue dress, blue heels to match and some makeup.

Severus, of course, wears his usual, black teaching robes.

" Why aren't you wearing just a shirt and jeans ? You will be more comfortable. " I tell him.

" And give to these Weasleys a view that they would probably mock me about the rest of my life ? No, thanks. " Severus retorts buttoning the buttons of his big shirt.

" Don't be ridiculous. They will say nothing regarding your clothes. We are outside school which means that it's not necessary for us to wear our teaching clothes. " I remark taking in my hug my dear Snowflake.

Severus finishes and glances at me. " Will you take him also ? "

" Well, yes. We don't know for how much we will be there. It's better to have him close. I don't want him to pass a day without food or something worst. " I answer patting Snowflake's head.

" Respected. Let's go. " Severus agrees and we leave the house.

In the street, he grasps my other hand tightly and we apparate to Sirius' house.

In seconds, we enter the place and look for our godson.

We find him hugging Sirius.

" Black, keep your filthy hands off my students. I don't want them to end up being stupids. Not that some of them are not already. " Severus snaps at Sirius.

Harry pulls away only hug me this time. " Y/N. I saw them. They were two. Two dementors. I protected myself and Dudley. It was self-defense. I- "

" I know. I know. Don't worry. Everything will be fine. " I assure him.

" The ministry won't expel you because as you already said, the only thing that you did was to protect yourself and your muggle cousin. Your muggle cousin already knew that you are a wizard and that we exist and the other only witness is a squib so there will be no problem with Muggles seeing you using magic. Fudge has no other choice except of accepting the trial which was requested by Dumbledore and then Dumbledore will be there to have everything under control. There is no need for worries. Everything will be ok and you will attend your 5th year at Hogwarts with your friends. " Severus explains still having on his expressionless face.

Harry turns to Severus and smiles at him. He then proceeds to doing something that made me grin and Sirius' eyes widen.

He hugged Severus.

In front of Sirius.

And everyone who will pass from where we are.

Severus wraps his hands around Harry trying to give him a bit of comfort.

I hear a gasp from behind.

I peek at that direction only to see Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Fred and George watching the whole scene with pure shock on their faces.

" Harry, go now to your friends and give some explanations. Be sure to remind them that if they tell someone of what just they saw, they will have detention with Severus and me for the whole next year. " I say, unfortunately ruining this perfect moment.

Severus gazes at the children and pulls away becoming the cold-hearted teacher once again while gives him one last smile before disappearing with his friends in the house.

" Well, well. I didn't know that you have feelings Snivellus. Amazing. " Sirius states.

I look daggers at him whilst Severus denies the argue to hex him.

And then is when I do it.

I slap him on the cheek.

HARD.
