Severus' P.O.V :

I walk through the corridors searching for her.

My lovely girlfriend.

She was supposed to come and join me in my office forty minutes.

Y/N is never late. Or when she is, it's when she ends  up speaking with Katie or to tease me.

However, when she does this, it's for 5 or 10 minutes, never 40.

Something has happened and I am afraid that Lockhart is involved.

The problem is that I saw him five minutes ago speaking with some of his student-fangirls.

He seemed rather tensed when he saw me. Like he was waiting me to do something.

I just ignored him as usual.

I enter inside Y/N's office.

Nothing.

I leave and check on her classroom.

She is nowhere.

I rush towards her quarters.

She can't just disappear.

I spell her password and look at all of the rooms. Even her bedroom.

How can she be nowhere ?

Is this a prank or anything ?

Is this her teasing or anything ?

I have to see her for 3 hours and I start getting mad.

Oh god. This woman will be the death of me.

My next destination is my chambers hoping to find Y/N deciding which of my shirts to steal.

Disappointment washes all over me when I see my closet as I left it in the morning.

I leave and go to her best friend. Katie and Y/N always know when the other one is.

Y/N told me once that this is a rule for them so they are sure about their best friend's safety.

I still remember when I found Katie crying in Y/N's arms in the astronomy tower after Black did this crime to Katie.

I knock on the door.

" Come in. " Katie shouts from inside.

I open the door and see Katie putting her quill down.

" How can I he- Severus, what are you soing here ? " Katie says confused.

I sit on the chair for her guests.

" You always know where Y/N is, am I right ? " I ask my girlfriend's best friend.

Katie nods confused. " Yes. She is with you, isn't she ? " 

I shake my head. " No, she is not. " I exclaim.

Katie's eyes widen. " Oh no. no. no. She never does this. She must be with you. " 

I shake my head again. " Well, she is not and I imagined that you may know where she is or better, her being with you. " I respond.

Katie swallows hard. " She is not here. " 

I sigh. " Very well. I will keep searching. " I tell her and stand on my feet to leave.

" Wait. " Katie stops me. 

" What ? " I inquire.

Katie opens one of the many cupboards of her office. She pulls out a parchment.

I raise an eyebrow. " What's that ? " I question.

" Y/N created a map with her Gryffindor friends. A map of Hogwarts. A map which contained everything about Hogwarts. Even the location of each person inside the castle. " She replies.

My eyes widen. She did what ? And never told me. But it all made sense. How did she know where I am all of these times after Potter's and Black's torture to apologize to me ?

" So, this paper parchment here is this map and we will see when Y/N is ? " I ask her.

" No, this is not the original. Y/N liked this idea. Having created one with her friends, she knew exactly how to do it again. But a little differently. So, she created two more. One of them is this and the other one is under Y/N's possesion. This is how we know all the time when the other one is. I think that she didn't tell you in case you felt uncomfortable due to her being able to now where you are all the time. " Katie answers.

I nod processing all the information given. I take the map in my hands. It's empty. Nothing is written on it.

However, I know Y/N very well, well enough not to judge from the appearance.

I point my wand at the map. " Reveal your secrets. " 

Letters start forming from nowhere.

Katie takes the map. " Watch and learn. " She orders smiling.

She points her wand at the map-exactly like me- but says:

" I swear that I forgot where the library is "

I glance at the map and my eyes widen.

The whole Hogwarts appears on the map. Footsteps on it with someone's name written next to them.

" Here. " Katie says pointing at the name of the one who is standing outside Myrtle's bathroom.
