Sang took off like a bird as soon as she heard the retreating double set of footsteps from outside the office. She jumped stealthily onto the filing cabinet using the cabinet handles as leverage and reached up, grabbing on to the opening of the ventilation shaft. Quickly, she screwed back on the bolts of the ventilation shaft door and visibly checked she didn't leave anything behind, not that she had anything to leave behind, but you could never be too careful. Once cleared, she crawled through the shaft, her heart beating rapidly with adrenaline and the rush of successfully getting through the job.
"Good one Sorenson. We could see everything from the cameras planted in his office and I think it's safe to say that you pulled that off well. You can come out now and we can call it a day." Said Matt. Sang sighed deeply, glad it was over but she also basked in the high she got from doing such a task. She reached the entrance of the shaft and climbed out grateful that this one was lower than the one in the office of their target. As she tried to find her footing on the ground she smacked into a wide chest only centimetres from her.
"Easy" smirked Matt, grasping her arms lightly, joining Sang in the flesh. She pushed herself away and looked up at him, he was very tall, and also easy on the eyes. He had a smooth olive complexion with dark brown hair and similar eyes, which were currently trained on her bright green ones.
"I'm alright, don't worry. Let's just get going," Sang stated, smiling up at him.
"Alright then, leave the memory stick with me; I'll pass it on to the boss and I'll drop you off to yours." Said Matt, as they both walked out of the building inconspicuously and towards the car. Sang was grateful it was a relatively short drive to her apartment where she could finally unwind and catch up on some sleep.
