Sang drove like a crazy woman, cars beeping at her from all directions. She was pretty sure she'd accumulated over a dozen speeding tickets, but time was of the essence. She didn't care that she had just essentially stolen an Academy car - that was the least of her problems at that moment. She swerved in and out of lanes, taking obscure routes and following directions that would get her somewhere they wouldn't find her. She kept a trained eye out for any shady looking cars that might be on her tail or for any suspicious vehicles. Thankfully, there didn't seem to be anyone on her trail. She breathed a sigh of relief and wiped her brow, not realising how fast her heart was beating until then. She ended up driving for a solid three hours before exhaustion overtook her and she pulled up to a motel. In the parking lot, she explored the contents of the car, looking for anything that might be of use to her. In the  dashboard compartment she found a wad of cash, a torch, some tissues, an old phone, and a small set of keys. She took out and pocketed the cash and phone, leaving the rest inside. Her stomach churned at the thought of being chased but she was so tired she had no other option but to spend the night at the motel. She promised herself that she would wake up at the crack of dawn the next day, call Matt and tell him everything that had happened to her since the bus shooting.
