As Sang boarded the bus she noticed something was off. Usually the faint scent of cigarette smoke wouldn't faze her but there was something different in the air. She could make out the distinct smell of the damp and the debris of the warehouse in the bus. This meant that someone currently on the bus must have been in the warehouse. Sitting near the front didn't give her much in terms of discretion to work out who it was as it would require turning around and exposing herself, so she pulled out her iPhone and used the black screen as a mirror to reflect her surroundings from behind her. She had to be subtle, so started fiddling with her hair as if she was just touching up her own appearance. She held the phone horizontally, and slightly to the left to see behind her. There behind her was one of the drug lackeys. She took is his slightly dishevelled appearance and wondered why he was here and not with the rest of his gang. He seemed to be a little fidgety, his hands twitching every now and then and his gaze glanced over to the man sat next to him. That was when Sang noticed the gun protruding from his waistband. Her heart stopped. He wasn't going to start shooting was he? Aside from fidgeting, he didn't look like he was going to particularly lash out at anyone. No sooner had Sang thought that thought, than he started pounding at the unknown man sitting next to him with his fists. Immediately, a wild fight broke out and Sang had never felt more terrified in her life. The bus passengers quickly began pushing the stop button on the poles and the bus driver tried to find an appropriate place to pull over. The entire bus was in a shambles. Sang had gotten up from her seat in a rush, watching the passengers who were screaming, some were even crying at the scene unfolding before them. The guy whipped out his gun and everyone stood, stunned.

"I told you NOT to tell anyone!" screamed the gun-wielding druggie, waving the gun wildly about with his hand, his face turning purple from rage. He had suffered a few punches himself, at the hand of his opponent, Sang realised, taking in his bleeding nose and split eyebrow.

"I didn't tell no-one! You're the only who promised to get me the goods!" the other man shouted back, looking just as worse for wear with one side of his face almost completely smeared in blood. Whether it was his own or the drug guy's Sang wasn't sure. The drug lackey landed another punch on his opponent, and they both fell, tumbling onto the floor of the bus in a mess of thrashing limbs. There was absolute chaos as the two guys rolled between the isle, with the innocent passengers screaming and trying to dismount the bus frantically. The sound of a gun went off and Sang screamed, startled by the loudness and the sudden expulsion of bullets. The bus stopped immediately, and Sang could hear the siren of an ambulance or police car in the distance drawing nearer as she realised someone must have called the police. The bullets hit the windows of the bus. The screams and the sound of shattering glass send a ripple of fear coursing through Sang's body as she trembled. She hoped no one innocent had been caught in the line of fire. Amongst the ruckus she could hear her phone ringing and vibrating faintly, so she grabbed it out of her back pocket and looked at the caller ID - it was Gabriel calling her. Why would he randomly be calling her? Especially at a time like this! She held the phone in her shaking hands and accepted his call, her heart beating sporadically in her chest.

"Sang, where are you?!" Gabriel demanded, panic evident in his voice.

"I'm...I'm in a bus on Walkers Way. There's a crazy guy here... he's shooting! G-Gabriel he has a gun!" She screamed over the growing ruckus, cradling the phone to her ear tightly.

"Calm down, Sang! Can you get out of the bus? Try and get off, now!" He asked, the loud noises in the background made it sound as if he was in a car. Sang looked around at the bus where people were clamouring, yelling at everyone and everything, some were even trying to exit the bus via the gaping holes in the bus windows. The two guys were still fighting; the dripping of blood from their wounds had coalesced into a shallow dark pool, which was rapidly expanding on the ground where they tussled. Sang felt faint at the sight of so much blood. Trying to get to the open bus doors was a hassle as there were so many people climbing on top of each other trying to escape as fast as they could. The guys were standing now, no longer brawling on the floor and the guy with the gun stood, pointing it at the other man, who stood directly in front of Sang. Her heart was hammering in her chest, a dull ringing in her ears. She inhaled deeply, trying to keep her nausea at bay and trying to still her phone in her shaking hands.

"I can't- I can't get out!" she struggled, "I need help! Gabriel I'm-"

Another shot rang out. As if in slow motion, Sang watched as the man who the bullet was intended for ducked at the last minute, swiftly dodging the bullet that was heading straight for... her.

Time stopped. The scream rose in Sang's throat but didn't reach her lips. She was pitched backwards, the force of the bullet sending her stumbling. Sang was in a state of utter disbelief as she choked back a scream with short ragged gasps, struggling to breathe. Her phone was violently flung out of her hand during the collision and she heard the shattering of the screen as it cracked. Uncomprehending, her breathing became even more difficult as her head swam and her vision became blurry. She barely felt the impact of her back smacking onto the floor when she collapsed, her legs no longer able to support her. The last thing she saw were fuzzy stars and bright lights pulsating in front of her eyes, before the darkness engulfed her completely.
