I'm writing a new story and there's nothing you can do about it. I've always wanted to write a Frerard. I mean, yeah there's Vampires and DGW but I want to write one without all the complicated paranormal shit.
So here we go.

Prologue
(Twelve years ago)
"Hey, Frankie!" Gerard squealed, his tiny five year old feet waddling over to the short child just exiting his mother's car. Gerard ran up behind Frank and hugged him around the middle, before Frank had a chance to turn around.
"Hi Gerard!" Exclaimed Frank, equally excited. They broke apart and began running towards the entrance to their new Pre-K class at Belleville daycare. Neither of the boys had attended school before and were both very excited to experience it.
Gerard grabbed Frank's hand as they neared the ominous double doors. Gerard turned to make sure his mother was still following them, before pushing against the door and opening it to reveal a bright hallway.
Gerard grinned. "Come on, Frankie! Let's find our class," he said before gripping Frank's hand and running down the hall with the short boy stumbling after him, smiling.
---
"Okay class," said Mrs. Crane, the boys' teacher,"who wants to draw?"
Gerard's ears perked up and he lifted his head from where it had been resting on Franks shoulder. Frank had been playing with Gerard's hair and was startled at the sudden movement made by the taller boy.
After an excited (and loud) chorus of agreement from the class, Mrs. Crane began handing out paper and a pencil to each student.
"I want you to pick a partner and draw them," she announced to the class.
"You wanna be my partner?" Gerard asked Frank excitedly.
"Yeah!" Exclaimed Frank with a smile. Gerard faced Frank and began drawing him, looking up occasionally. Frank did the same, though he was less enthusiastic than Gerard.
Frank finished before Gerard and presented his drawing to him with a grin on his face.
"Look Gee, I drew us holding hands like this morning!"
Gerard took the paper from his hand to further examine it.
It was a scribble that somewhat resembled the boys holding hands, huge smiles plastered on their faces with a heart around them.
"I love it!" Said Gerard. "You wanna see mine?"
"Yes!" Exclaimed Frank. Frank loved Gerard's drawings.
Gerard showed him the drawing; it was a much clearer drawing, this time of Frank. Frank looked closer to read what Gerard had scribbled in the corner.
It read: "I lov you Frnkie!" And was surrounded by tiny red hearts.
"I love you too, Gerard!" Frank exclaimed.
"We should get married!" Squealed Gerard who was practically jumping with joy (partly because he had eaten a little too much candy at lunch time).
"Yeah! I'll tell my mommy tonight!" Frank said with a grin gracing his little pale face.
The two children hugged and continued chatting about their drawings as if proposing was a totally normal occurrence.
Frank didn't even consider that his mother might have a negative response to Gerard's "proposal." He loved his mother and knew that she too would love him no matter what. Or so he thought.
---
"Hey mommy!" Frank yelled to his mother, Linda, who hugged Frank as he crashed into her.
"How was school?" Linda smiled at her son.
"I'll tell you in the car, I gotta say goodbye to Gee."
Linda chuckled as her son ran over to his slightly taller friend. They hugged, then waved goodbye.
Frank and his mother exited the school, and made their way to the small mold-green car parked in front of the school.
As Linda buckled Frank in, she ventured the question once more.
"So, how was school?"
"Good," Frank said, still grinning as his mother got into the driver's seat.
"Oh yeah? What did you do?"
"We drew, and slept, and ate, and Gerard said he loved me, then he said we could get married and-"
"He what?" Interrupted Linda.
"He told me we should get married. It's okay mommy, he's really nice."
"O-Okay," Linda said frightened, hoping that this was just a kid thing. She had been raised catholic and had no intention of having a homosexual for a son.
She cleared her throat. "So, uh, did you tell Gerard you loved him too?"
Frank blushed,"Yeah. I can't wait 'till we get married."
"Honey, I don't think you should be friends with Gerard."
Frank's face instantly saddened, tears welling in his eyes. "W-Why mommy?"
"He seems like a bad influence."
"B-But I love him. W-We're getting married..."
"No, you're not! I will not tolerate that in my house!"
"B-But-"
Linda pulled over and slapped Frank across the face, leaving a red hand print as the child began sobbing.
"You're not friends with him, got it?!" She yelled.
Frank nodded and continued to sob, thinking of what his wedding might have looked like if his mommy had let him have it, and of the stinging pain in his cheek.
