Chapter 9

Sunoo

I woke up earlier than my usual waking up time just to check if the sender left a letter for me again . It's still dawn and the sun's light was almost showing but there's still a bit of darkness that can be seen . My family is still asleep until now and it's a chance for me to check the door mat outside . Why does the sender put the letter in the rug tho ? It's unhygienic ..

I tiptoed not to cause any noise .. I don't why am I doing this actually . I can still check it even everyone is awake .

Once I opened the door , I smiled thinking that there's a letter under it but my smile faded when I didn't found one .

"Hmm, maybe they hasn't send me one today or I ain't getting another ?" I whispered and can't help to pout . It's my fault to expect something from them again.

I was about to enter again when I noticed a baby blue paper at my mom's flower pot . I excitedly took the piece of paper and beamed as I saw the same yellow glittered pen written letter .

" Woah, they actually sent one today!" I exclaimed though in a hush tone .. I feel so giddy that I received another one today .

Also I'm impressed that they put it in the flower pot instead . Maybe they became a civilized citizen now .

I was so happy today , you smiled at me . I wasn't expecting it but still you gave me one . Actually I returned the smile but secretly . I'm too shy ..

"Oh , who must they be ? And they said they're shy oh my " I slumped back to my bed while reading the note. I wouldn't lie , the letter itself made my heart flutter . It's my first time someone actually send me one though everyone appreciates me except Ni-ki of course . That kid never likes me .

" Should I send them a note also ?" I asked myself while I re-reading the letter .

I was thinking of writing them one for them to know that I appreciate their effort . It's cute that they're making a note . But how did they know where I live ? I'm not telling the other kids my address , only the close ones . And I don't think someone from my friendship circle ever liked me romantically .

I folded the paper again and hid it on my notebook , together with the one I received yesterday . I'll let Jungwon to read it later .

" Are they a sucker for smiles ? I mean , are they really that addicted to your smile ? Your smile ain't that special though , " Jungwon grimace as he reads the letter I received earlier . I just laughed at him

" I don't know , maybe they just found it cute "

" But I'm cuter than you . Shouldn't I receive one also ?" He whined .. yeah he's cute like a baby .

" Should I tell Jay sunbaenim ?" I asked him but he just choked with his banana milk .

" Jay ? Who is that ? I don't know any Jay .. stop making up stories " he denied , not knowing that I already knew that he has a crush on a senior . I noticed him always looking at the guy's way with sparkling eyes .. and Ni-ki also told me that before .

" Don't lie or your crush won't like you back . " I threatened him but he just rolled his eyes . I just want to poke them .

Jungwon looked away from me but I could tell that he's hiding the blush spreading on his cheeks . He was even trying hard to control his smile . He's just like me everytime we'll talk about Ni-ki .

" See , you can't even say anything . Just admit you like Jay sunbaenim. I'll support you " I really wanted him to say it himself .

" Okay , if you'll also admit you have a crush on Ni-ki . " He said that made me stop from teasing him . Why does he have to include Ni-ki in our conversation ..

" Hey ! We're talking about you and not him . So shut your mouth "

I glared at him .. he's so annoying ! Well , I annoy him too .

" So how about Sunghoon sunbaenim ? Isn't he your crush ?" He spoke again and I just chuckled at him . I don't even have feelings for the senior .. we're just friends .

" Nope , he isn't . Where in the heavens did you that news ? We're just friends . Nothing more, nothing less . " I stated in all honesty . I don't want other people to get the wrong idea about me hanging out with Sunghoon hyung . I just go with him on vacants since I enjoyed his company and Jungwon wasn't always with me .

" See , if it's Sunghoon you're so quick to answer . Then why does you space out when it comes to Ni-ki ? You can't even answer correctly " he insisted , of course it's hard to admit it .

" We have the same reason because you're like that earlier also " I just ignored him after . I don't want to talk about it further .

He , also stayed silent and just munch his tuna sandwich .. I know he doesn't want to talk about it but we both know what's the truth about our own feelings .

Soon , a hand grabbed my shoulder . I looked back to see who he is but I only saw Ni-ki , leaning close to me . I was so nervous that I gulped .

"What are you- Hey ! " He bites on my untouched sandwich . I frown at him , and almost about to hit him when he flashed a smile . Oh god , is he even real ? And you know that I gay panicked internally as I squeal inside .

" This tastes good !" He commented while taking another bite on it , leaving the half of it .

I could see Jungwon smirked at me then stared at me and Ni-ki . I know he loves the scene infront of him .

" Just eat this all .. I don't want to eat this anymore " I pushed the half left sandwich to him that he shamelessly took from me .. I just sighed in annoyance . Now what will I eat ?

I was about to leave to buy a new sandwich when he grab my wrist causing me to sit down again . My butt hurts from it but my heart was racing because of him still holding me . But that as soon I sat beside him , he released it . I just pouted and I heard Jungwon chuckle . I just glared at him .

Ni-ki then faced me and hold my cheeks that cause for my mouth to open . I blushed at the action but tried not to look at him straight in his eyes . I'm too shy to do that . He then shoved a sandwich in my mouth that I don't have any choice but to chew it . I frown at him thinking it's the same sandwich that he almost ate earlier .

" Don't worry , I bought it before I went here . It's yours now " I looked at it and saw that it's untouched . Maybe it's supposed to be his but chose to annoy me that he had to take mine .

I rolled my eyes at him but the butterflies are doing backflips inside me . Are they having a circus in my body ?

"Tss , cute " I heard him whisper but I didn't say anything .. he'll just deny it if I would insist that he said that .
