Chapter 13

" Oh Ni-ki , finally visiting my son huh ??"

Sunoo's mom said .. she knows that Ni-ki was the one who sends letters to Sunoo and keeps it a secret . She once caught Ni-ki putting something on their flower pot one night when she came home late .

" Ahh .. yes Mrs. Kim , we planned to hang out after school " he nervously stated almost hesitantly ..

" Good thing to know you're finally .. oh , nevermind . Have you eaten ? There's snacks at the refrigerator " she said that made Ni-ki felt relief . He thought his secret are going to be  revealed .

Sunoo was bewildered at how suspicious they are but answered his mom " yes mom , Riki brought some apple pie . There's still left , you want ?"

" Oh , Riki .. " she then glanced at Ni-ki who was turning to red " ah yes son , just leave it there . Do you want to go to your room or something ?" She asked , yeah she's helping but Ni-ki couldn't help but to feel nervous everytime she will speak.

" That's what we're supposed to do mom , we'll just play games!" He said as he grabbed Ni-ki's hand and ran upstairs

" Oh , really? Just play ?" His sister blurted , she smirked  but Sunoo just rolled his eyes still holding his hand and closed the door behind them .

Both of them released a heavy sigh once they entered the room then  Sunoo released the younger's hands once he realized that he's been holding it for so long . Ni-ki wants to be in his hold for a bit longer but couldn't talk about it because it might felt awkward for Sunoo .

Ni-ki's eyes landed on a large clear jar that was placed above the older's study table . He just recycled the jar of cheese balls . Ni-ki giggled .

" Hyung , what's that ?" He asked , pointing on the jar .

Sunoo was about to hide it but the younger already found it .

" Ah .. there's this someone who sends me letters everyday so instead of throwing it away , I just stored them there . Isn't it cute ?" He exclaimed but felt embarrassed because he decorated it with some laces and stickers .

" Yeah , you decorated it cutely .. did you already met the sender ? "

" Nope , he said he was shy though I already said in a letter I once sent them to approach me and not to be shy "

" What if they already approached you but you're too busy to realize it " and with that , he thinks about it .. have he really meet them ?

" I don't know , but I wished they'll introduced themselves to me .. why are they so afraid ? I don't bite .. "

Ni-ki giggles , he just found it cute . . But still he was shy to actually tell him that he's the one sending those letters .

" Should we read them ? " Sunoo suddenly said and Ni-ki hesitated to agree . But then he gulps as he nod .

Sunoo grabbed the jar and placed it on his bed . He signalled Ni-ki to sit on the other side of it while he leaned by the headboard .

The older poured the letters at his bed and Ni-ki was just there nervously staring at everyone of them .

" I think there's been more than fifteen of them . I'm not quite sure , I didn't count " he just said while opening one

" Dear Sunshine , how are you today ? I hope you're doing good on your exam .. because I am here, struggling . But whenever I think of you , I can finally calm down .. good luck on your studies ! Moon " Sunoo reads the paper in his hand and Ni-ki cringes at every word he spoke

" That's cringey as fuck " Ni-ki finally spoke from being so silent since earlier . Sunoo then chuckled

" Haha ! Yeah a bit but it's cute , oh I wanna read another one !"

" Dear Sunshine, Hi! I know I'm quite straightforward and this is so sudden but , I just want you to know that I really like you . Moon "

" T-they like you . ." All he could say , but deep inside him , he just wanted to pull his own hair in frustration .. that was the most cringiest thing he ever wrote . He was now regretting everything .

" Yeah , but I can't like them back .. I already like someone " Sunoo said that made him flinched .. di he just said he already like someone else ? Oh my , Ni-ki is losing his sanity . .

" Oh ? Then who is it ?" Sunoo then looked at him in his eyes then smiled

" Hmm , it's a secret . "

" What !? Tell me hyung~ " he doesn't know why he wants to know .. he'll just hurt himself if he'll knew who he likes . 

" You'll know it soon .. " he just said at him while smiling as if he was reassuring him that everything's fine and don't have to worry .

He then left Ni-ki and went to open his window .. Ni-ki followed him and leaned at the window frame ..

" Do you know why I always closed this ?" He asked but Ni-ki just stare at him confused and waits him to finally tell him why.

" It's because whenever we see each other , there's always something for us to bicker . I don't know why we're like that but I missed it whenever you won't annoy me " he finished the giggles , thinking about old times because now they've been close and doesn't annoy each other .

" I don't know why we're like that either . But I believe, I started it " the younger admitted and leaned closer to him , pulling him by his waist .

Sunoo was surprised , the younger has been so touchy and sweet ..

" You know , you can finally open it always whenever you want to "

" Really ?? You won't annoy me anymore ?" He moved to look at him straight in the eyes and Ni-ki might have melt there if he was an ice .

Ni-ki then ruffled the older's hair as if he was the one older .. sunoo just shut his eyes as he feels the younger's touch .

" Of course not . As I said , I'll be nicer to you "
