Chapter 18

Ni-ki was now on his desk , beside his bed . He was placing his head over his palm whilst holding his glittered pen .

The pen's ink was almost empty from all the letters he wrote to Sunoo . Though he didn't complain , but he was thinking to stop sending him those love notes . Well , aside from his yellow glitter pen that's almost running out of ink , he was now building his courage to meet Sunoo as his moon .

But maybe he can still send him few notes before he'll expose himself .. so he thinks of writing him a love note for now . Maybe tomorrow or the day after that , he'll meet him up for real .

He started jotting down some pick up line on it .

Dear Sunshine ,

If you have to choose between you'll love me or I'll love you , would you pick me ?

Ni-ki himself cringe with what he just scribbled on the paper but he still smiled . He thinks that Sunoo would like these kind of things .

He folded the paper and sealed it with a kiss , though it hasn't a mark on it but at least , it has his kiss lol ..

His window was now close with a curtain , he pushed aside some of the fabric to peek at his neighbor's window . Sunoo's lights are still on and his window is still open .. he's probably doing his homework . He'll just wait once all of them goes to sleep .

The boy waited for almost three hours before peeking again through his windows . The neighbor's house was now out of light and this is his cue to do his job secretly . he thinks he looks like a burglar but he doesn't mind .

He again tiptoed while going out of his room . His family might wake up so he really did his best to keep silent . After going out of his own house , he silently walked through the next house . Good thing almost everyone in the neighborhood was asleep .. no people , no cars , only sounds of crickets can be heard and the lamp post light to shine the streets was flickering that's making a scratchy sound .

He finally placed the folded paper on the flower pot together with the small box he prepared for him .

But as he was about to leave the place , he heard some noise inside Sunoo's house so he rushed his way to his house . The nervousness he felt was on the highest level . He never noticed he was holding his breath until he reaches his doorsteps . He then barge inside his house in a hurry . But closes their door silently , not wanting to create some noise as he released a heavy sigh .

His heartbeat was beating so loud as he leaned by the door . He wasn't ready for now , he still needs time that's why he doesn't want to be seen .

On the other hand , by the time Ni-ki was entering Sunoo's gate .. the boy was coming out from the kitchen , holding a glass of milk and a big cookie . He felt hungry that he decided to get a midnight snack when he heard noise from outside , specifically on the gate . He heard footsteps after so he placed his milk by the table but still holding his cookie on his hand then went to the window to look outside .

" Gosh , what if there's a thief .. trying to steal money from my parents ? " He whispered to himself , griping on the large cookie that he also stole from his sister's big jar .

Peeking outside , his eyes widened when he saw Ni-ki at his mom's flower pot . The moon shines over his face .

" What is he doing ? "

Soon a thought came in his mind .. " is he the one sending me those letters ? "

He just observes how Ni-ki put the paper under the flower's leaf and this time , with a small box . But as he was leaning by the couch to peek , his feet accidentally pushed the table that it made a sound . He panicked when Ni-ki turned his head at the window where he is . Good thing it's dark inside so the younger didn't saw him . He then hides on the couch , and place a hand in his mouth to keep himself silent .

He heard footsteps rushing away from his house to he peeks again to see Ni-ki running to his house .

" So Ni-ki is my secret admirer ?? " Sunoo smiled , he feel his heart flutters as he keeps on jumping and squealing silently .

He calms his self by drinking his forgotten milk at the table . After thirty minutes , he came outside to get the paper and the box Ni-ki left earlier .

He then went to his room to finally check the items on his hand .

“ If you have to choose between you'll love me or I'll love you , would you pick me ? ”

Sunoo giggled after he reads the note .. he knows Ni-ki is cheesy but he never thought he's this cheesy .. " oh , how does he came up with this kind of pick up line ? Did he googled it ? "

" He didn't have to ask me something like that , I'll chose him no matter what " his smile never left his lips . He never imagined that Ni-ki was his moon .. he never thought that the younger likes him too .

Soon , he took the small box and opened it . It revealed a cute moon keychain .

" How cute~ " he said before clipping it on his backpack .

He then moved to settle on his bed with the note Ni-ki gave him and kissed it . He didn't know that Ni-ki also kissed that earlier .

He closed his eyes whilst hugging the small paper . His cheeks hurts from too much smiling because of what he discovers just now .  He was grateful that his stomach grumbles at the middle of the night . Because of that , he met his moon .. secretly .
