Chapter 23

The next day , he never saw Ni-ki .. he even went to his classroom and he wasn't there . He was just thinking he's absent or skipped his class . Or might as well , and was obviously avoiding him .

Sunoo was hurt of course but he also thinks of how the younger was feeling now . He didn't want him to be angry at him like this . He must find him to finally clear things out . He's not used to them being like this .

So he decided to just went home but their house seems to have no one inside . He wants to go back near school to find him on the dance studio but he stopped himself .. maybe he'll just wait for him to come home later .

Sunoo misses him a lot . He knew that he hurt the younger but he wants to make it up to him . He'll do anything just for him not to be mad ..

The male waited until almost midnight but Ni-ki's room didn't even lit up . It just means he's not yet at home . But from the looks of it , some rooms have lights on it so his family was there . He's only the one who isn't .

" Where is he ? " He asked himself " it's midnight yet he didn't came home .. "

Sunoo wanted to search for him but he thinks that if he'll do it , he might run away from him again and it's really late for him to go out .

When he was about to close his window , a light shined on Ni-ki's room .. he smiled as he saw it but then he decided to just let him be as he closes his own window . He feels okay now that he knows Ni-ki's home . He'll just try his best to talk to him tomorrow .

Early in the morning , Sunoo went to Ni-ki's front yard to wait for him on the bench . But it went to pass eight in the morning yet he hasn't seen Ni-ki going out of the house . He was so late for his class .. and thinking that he might just be absent  today .

After a minute , Ni-ki's mom went outside together with her daughter .

" Oh , Sunoo .. you're here !" She cheerfully said and Sunoo instantly greeted her with a bow .. also Ni-ki's sister .

" Is Ni-ki still there ? " He finally asked

Both girls looked at each other .. then smiled

" Ahh , he's inside and he can't come to class today . He got sick from staying until late at the dance studio . Maybe he worked up himself too much . " His mom explained and Sunoo feels bad for him

" Uh , can I uhmm like .. take care of him while you're gone for work ?" He gulped as he waits for her answer

Both of them chuckled at him and it confuses him ofcourse .

" Yes , I guess . He seems so downhearted these days and I don't know what happened to him . Did you both fight ?"

" Ahh , a bit ?" He shyly admitted and Ni-ki's mom just ruffled his hair

" We cooked some porridge for him , you can just reheat it if he decided to eat . There's also medicine at the kitchen table "

They then left after saying some necessary reminders to him .. Sunoo then went inside the eeriely silent house .

He walked upstairs to find Ni-ki's room that soon he found at the end of the hallway .

He knocked a couple times before he heard a groan and some lazy footsteps .

" What do you need ? I said I need- " he was cutted when he realized that it's not his sister , instead it was Sunoo who's staring at him worriedly .

" What are you doing here ?" He sternly asked the older who just went inside to hug him

Sunoo just can't help himself from hugging the younger .. he's been avoiding him and it drives him crazy .. crazily missing him .

Ni-ki didn't move on his position but really wants to hug him back but he was just stopping himself . He can't give in now . Not today .

He soon softly pushed him away from him .. firstly , he doesn't want the older to catch his cold and secondly , he's still mad .

" Why are you here ? " He coldly asked him while staring at him dead in the eyes .

" I will take care of you , Riki " if Ni-ki would tell , he might melt right away from hearing his name from him

" I didn't asked you though , you can leave now .. hyung "

He doesn't want to push him away but his stupid mind keeps telling him that . All he really wanted was to wrap Sunoo into his arms and kiss him all day ..

" Nope , stop being stubborn and rest . I'll take care of you " he said as he pushed Ni-ki to his bed . Ni-ki didn't hesitate , he instantly moved to his bed without complaining . He's also feeling his body being weak . Maybe because of his cold.
