Chapter 24

Sunoo left Ni-ki for a while when he gets a bowl of water and a towel . Once he came back , Ni-ki was already sleeping soundly . He soaks the towel on the warm water then drained the water from towel by squeezing it and place it on his forehead . He just sits there beside him while he waits for him to wake up .

There's still few hours for him to take medicine so he stretches his arms before leaning down his head on it . He yawned before closing his  eyes .

Sunoo felt someone was playing with his hair . He opened his eyes from his nap and saw Ni-ki looking at him but his hand was now kept by his duvet . Sunoo was thinking it's just in his dreams , but it feels real . So he looks at Ni-ki , scanning him but the younger just avoids his stares .

" How's your nap Riki ? " He asks , though he's the one who just woke up

" Just fine .. I didn't have a headache now , I think I'm okay "

Sunoo proceeds to touch his forehead , Ni-ki flinched when he does that but calmed down after some seconds .. Sunoo felt that he wasn't hot now . Maybe the damp towel really helps and maybe he already took medicine before his mom left .

" Yeah , you're temperature is just fine. But how's your throat ? "

Ni-ki feels it .. it hurts a bit but not that much . Maybe he'll recover by it at the end of the day or tomorrow morning . He just really needs rest .

" A bit hurt , but I'm okay hyung "

The older  went to Ni-ki's bed side table to get his water .. he then motioned Ni-ki to sit so can drink it .

" T-thanks .. " he stutters , maybe he just drank a lot of water or he's just flustered ..

Sunoo then helped him to lay on his bed even though it's not necessary since Ni-ki can do it on his own , then tucked him on his duvet . Sunoo just adores how he looks under his pale blue covers . He looks like a baby .

Ni-ki noticed he's on his uniform . He's been there for a long time now but he just noticed it by now .

" Did you just skipped school ? " Ni-ki asked , a bit disappointed at him for not going to school but there's a big part of him that's celebrating because of the thought that Sunoo skipped because of him , just to take care of him . He just felt , special .

Sunoo nodded then smiled , " yeah , I've been waiting for you since 6:30 in the morning but you haven't gone out until almost 8 . Good thing your mom went out and told me you're sick so here I am , taking care of you instead of attending a boring class . I'm late anyways so I decided to just skip " he explains

Ni-ki just bit the inside of his cheek , to stop him from smiling . But if you'll look at him , you'll know how he struggled at keeping his face blank . So instead of shaming himself in front of Sunoo , he just turned away and pressed his lips to hide his obvious smile . He just can't help it .. he's flustered .

On the other hand Sunoo noticed it but didn't mention to spare him from embarrassment . He knows that the younger always wanted to act cool so pointing out how he's flustered might embarrass him .

As Ni-ki turns his head again , he was now calm . They just shared an eye contact before Ni-ki cleared his throat . It's not he feels awkward , but his throat feels itchy at that moment .

" Hyung , you can change with my clothes . It ain't cool nursing me with that uniform . My room isn't a school " he commented that Sunoo just giggles . His giggles was one of Ni-ki's favorite sounds .

" Can I just look for some clothes on your cabinet ? Is that okay to you ?" He hesitantly asked .. well not all people wants someone to just see their cabinet and drawers .

" Yeah , just get what you think that can fit you .. I have plenty of clothes there " he said as if he's flexing his own clothes .

Sunoo stood up then opened his large cabinet . It's a bit tall , taller than him that if he'll enter inside and hide , he can fit . He scans inside and he smiles at how organized it is . The clothes were piled according to their colors and it looks neat .

" Don't be amazed , mom arranged it .. not me " Ni-ki blurted that made Sunoo to chortle at his straightforwardness.

His eyes landed on a black hoody with a letter A and a heart embroidered on it that he saw Ni-ki wore the other day . He grabbed it and showed it to Ni-ki , asking for permission and the younger just nodded .

" There's shirts there hyung and some sweat pants . Just get one but don't mess mom's arrangement . She'll scold me if she sees some of my clothes were crumpled " he says before turning away .. he just can't handle looking at Sunoo on his cabinet . Because he's imagining that they're living together and Sunoo was there on their shared cabinet . Yes , it's a bit crazy but that's what he's thinking as of the moment .

Meanwhile , Sunoo also pulled a white shirt and a black sweat pants to match the hoody he took earlier and make sure that he doesn't mess with Ni-ki's mom arrangement .

" Ni-ki I'll go change for a bit .. I'll be back in a second " he says before he went on the bathroom .

Ni-ki just waits for him while staring at the ceiling .. he smiled widely . The smile that he's been keeping earlier was now released . He's indeed happy .. minus the fact that he got a cold . But still , he's happy .. now that Sunoo is with him .

He grabbed his chest .. he feels his heart is going crazy ever since Sunoo came into his room . He's thinking how Sunoo took care of him and it made him blush real hard . He turned around , laying his stomach by the bed and hides his face by the pillow and squeal on it to muffle his sounds . He must let it out because if he won't , he feels he might explode .
